Stayed in their five bedroom cabin Overpriced! Poorly equipped, no toaster, limited pans and the “dining room table has four chairs and no more than six people could sit there if there were enough chairs The bedrooms have no table or bureau to put your clothes in. You will be far better off staying at the Red Canyon Lodge. It’s only 10 miles away and it has a very good restaurant Highway robbery!

Fishing was great on Green River. Good at resort OK, just don’t get steak , everything else pretty good. Service great . Every staff member was a pleasure to deal with. All in all a nice place to stay. Fly shop well stocked and manager very helpful and friendly.

Stayed in the cowboy cabin. The rooms were good. the office said that the pull out couch would be made up with linen. It was not. Hopefully this was just an oops. there were no extra sheets or blankets in the whole cabin. I was glad we had brought a sleeping bag. One fan in one bedroom would only run on high so if you turned on the light you also got high speed fan air. Kind of strange. I slept on the hide a bed and the furnace wakes you every time it turns on. Worked for what we needed. Had a great trip. I would stay there again.

The cowboy cabins were fantastic! Very clean. Friendly and outgoing staff! My family and I enjoyed this resort compared to others we have stayed at. Very cozy and welcoming. Beautiful view of the mountains. The steak house was amazing. Their fly shop is also pretty impressive.

I rented a Plus Cabin . It had 2 bedrooms upstairs each with queen sized beds . The beds were made nicely and each bedroom even had extra blankets and pillows . Very comfy . The cleanliness of my cabin was excellent . Clean windows , windowsills and blinds . Carpet was vacuumed. The downstairs living area and kitchen were very clean with adequate supply of dishes and cookware for what I needed . The bathroom is kinda small with only a shower , but was well maintained and clean with towels and toilet paper stocked . The store is convenient. The ice cream is super yummy . The restaurant has great food and I even had a drink in their new bar . The fly shop is very impressive with a huge inventory. They don’t have much staff this time of year , but everyone I met there was professional, polite and very friendly and always ready to help with whatever I needed . Very knowledgeable about the area and history . I’ll definitely recommend this resort to my family and friends and i’ll be back this summer .

The staybwas fine. I was doubled charged. Once by ******* and once by the resort. I called the resort to resolve the issue and was told i ld recieve a call the next day. Never did. Still waiting to see if the charge was reversed on my card.

I highly recommend staying anywhere else but here! My brother and I booked 4 nights with them in the Moose cabin. We arrived to a dirty, broken down trailer. Cabinet hinges were missing, the dishes and utensils were dirty with stuck on food, the outside around the feeble deck looked like a junk yard and the list goes on. But we decided to not complain and tough it out and just concentrate on fishing. After the first night and day of fishing we had to leave due to a family emergency so we asked what could be done as far as a refund. "Sorry, no refunds" was the first response that I got. After explaining our situation and David (the manager) calling the owner, He said they would be able to refund 70% of the last two nights....OK fair enough. After two weeks no refund. I called several times and finally got a call back. " Wow, The girl said that she would refund it". David said he'd check on it and get back to me. It's August, a month later and nothing. I'm not going to call back and fight with them. I am a seasoned fishing guide out east and have contact with lots of people who travel and fish. I have been traveling west for ten plus years going to different locations to fly fish. My clients count on me for recommendations of where to go and for the best places to stay. Dutch John Resort will not be on the list. Check with Trout Creek Flies or stay up on Flaming Gorge. David If you read this and are inspired to do the right thing I will certainly make it part of the story, but I'm afraid the damage is done.

This was absolutely the worst Un organized outfit I ever dealt with. No blame on guides. Went for breakfast before trip restaurant not open at 7 as advertised. Got screwed on trip time and price had 3 boats. If your desperate go here if not go anywhere else.

This place is a joke. No fire pit at our site, the camp sites are defined by thistles and briars and prickly bushes, the bathrooms are the worst I have ever seen, the gas station is terrible including the pumps that would not work, everything is overpriced, we had a broken down dump truck parked next to our tent, I would complain to the employees but I am sure they can’t do anything because of some sort of questionable work exchange situation going on. If you like camping in a landfill this place might be perfect for you.
