No93 Oower Hoose

Just spent two nights at this gorgeous little guest house. What a fantastic place this is. So quirky and homely. Sheila the hostess couldn't do enough for you, the place was clean, the room's each had their own bathrooms. The breakfast was made freshly for each person and wow it was lovely. The village is very nice with quite a few pub's, the locals are very friendly we asked about getting the bus to York. The bus leaves the market square the 30x was the quicker one, and the fare was £2 per person. Well worth doing by bus, the stop was just in front of the toilet block, market square. A very enjoyable break and we'll definitely return and recommend.

The house is exquisitely furnished and to a very high standard. Hosts were welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Bedrooms are quirky with beams and sloping floors and a beautiful en-suite bathroom Breakfast was tasty and alot of choices including fresh fruit salad and bucsfizz as well as traditional full English. The market town of Easingwald is very quaint and made picture perfect with a dusting of snow. Will definatley be returning

Would highly recommend here, and would definitely stay here again. Felt like home. Beautifully decorated communal areas and rooms. Safe parking (limited to a degree). Very helpful proprietors , easily contactable and welcoming and helpful at breakfast. Breakfast was very, very tasty. The surrounding area was very beautiful. It reminded me of the perfect village in Hot Fuzz (film) but without the dodgy bits Welcoming locals, a village with everything you need. Nice walk around too and very convenient to travel into York.

We stayed at Oower house for one night. The house has lovely welcoming interior. We were met and shown around and the bedroom we had was beautiful. Fully equipped to a high standard and the breakfast was brilliant. We will definitely stay again if we are heading to North Yorkshire

I stayed at 93 Oower House for the weekend whilst away for work, and had a lovely stay. Lovely bathroom with toiletries, bottles of water and delicious local biscuits in the room. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant , lots of choice including homemade museli, and high quality produce. The local town is also beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

Easy to find, with off road parking, always a bonus. Friendly greeting by owner accompanied by delicious tea and cake. Bed springy and comfy. Shower immaculate. Mind your head on the beams 'ouch'! Situated within minutes stroll into Easingwold town centre, which is very picturesque. Plenty of pubs. We had a fabulous meal in the George Hotel, highly recommended, but need to book. Easy to take a bus into York town centre, seeing the beautiful little villages on the way. Very friendly bus driver and friendly locals too.

Such a lovely place, such lovely rooms. Kay was a wonderful host - very accommodating. I had a delightful stay and if I ever have the chance to go back to Yorkshire, this will be my preferred place to stay. Reasonable driving distance to the city of York and most of the local sites.

We stayed 2nights after our Ripon cycling tour. What a lovely B&B! Kay & Andrew are brilliant hosts. The location is near York by car (20mins) in a peaceful wee village. Which we are so happy to discover. The house is spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and so delicious. Thank you for preparing the dairy-free for us!

Stayed previously at this fantastic B and B and had no hesitation to book again. The accommodation is spotless and the owners are friendly and professional. Varied breakfast offered and all is tasty and well presented. Off street car parking is at rear of property. Would highly recommend
