Usually the Hampton Inns I have stayed in, in the past have been very decent. But this location in Hammond has been consistently 'inconsistent' ! Have been checked into a room which was not cleaned & at other time got a room which was deadlocked from inside & could not get access. There was a time when they ran out of coffee for a whole day! Breakfast is a hit & miss as they run out of basic items like bread, fruits & milk. I requested to speak to the general manager on property twice but no one there. Left my number for them to call me back but no response! Hilton Honors were at least sensitive & took my complaint. Unfortunately not many options in that area & they do not give the same points for a stay in Home2suites as compared to Hampton Inn. I guess it is a cost we have to pay.....hope the property is sensitive to this.
