The aged, damaged furniture. Grass not cut. TV that was 15 years old with static like watching tv from 1970. If we had paid $100 per night for this room it would be expected, but this hotel was outrageously expensive. Inexcusable. They should be embarrassed to rate this property 5 stars. The only redeemable quality is the employees. Even the buffet breakfast was 3 rate

Terrible. Slow service and rude employees throughout the resort. Everything is incredibly spread out, and getting to and from the beach/pool areas and back to your room is difficult. Also, everything on the resort is ridiculously overpriced. Food and drinks are expensive and not worth your time. The island is beautiful but don’t stay at this resort.

The Buccaneer Handled My Last Minute Wedding and it was Everything that I dreamed of and More! Carmen and Nadia, Gloria did the flowers, Melinda, from Under the Palms Hair Studio did my hair, The Cake lady was Amazing and all of the staff did a wonderful Job! We had approximately 30 guests stay at the resort and our other friends live on island. I cannot say enough about the experience or how Beautiful the Resort is. Also, Kenny the Golf Pro helped all of my guests get a lovely round of golf in as well! Thank You All!

Beautiful resort. Professional, friendly staff in all areas. Food was great. Enjoyed the week so much. The rooms were very neat and organized. All requests were handled promptly. The only minor negative for me was my lack of experience driving on the left handside (European), so I needed a taxi for any trips off of the property. This was an extra expense for shopping on the Island.

Buccaneer resort is so beautiful and the beach is so well kept and clean. The service was great and the staff were so nice! We had the pleasure of talking with Dena Coe and she was such an amazing person to talk to and so helpful with anything we needed! We will definitely be back!

Absolute fantastic stay at the Buccaneer. It was our first time in st croix and we loved it. The Buccaneer property is beautiful landscaped and maintained. It has many options for soaking up the beauty of the island. The rooms were great and expansive. The staff was very professional and all our meals on site were fantastic.

Our stay at the Buccaneer Resort was very relaxing with plenty to do at the resort. We spent time at both pools and on the private beach with food and drinks brought to our seats under an umbrella or palm tree. The restaurants were convenient and the food was delicious, especially the buffet breakfast every morning. There was a fabulous local pianist one evening in the Terrace Restaurant who played while we dined. All the folks who worked there were friendly and very helpful. The Buccaneer is close to Christiansted where there were a fort and other old buildings to explore, plus a boardwalk with many bars, restaurants, and shops. Really loved our stay!

The Buccaneer and staff are amazing. I’ve stayed several times and visit the beaches often. They never cease to amaze me. It doesn’t matter if you’re traveling alone, with your significant other, family, or friends…it’s the place to be in STX. I highly recommend staying or visiting the Buccaneer. You will not be disappointed!
