Mountain Pine Motel

This is a quaint little family run motel tucked away in the small town of East Glacier Park. It's a no frills motel and the rooms are small, but they are well kept and clean. The manager was very helpful with our questions and needs. You could spend more for the bigger and fancier Glacier Park Lodge nearby, but for us just needing a night stay before going to Glacier NP this was just fine. If you want to save a few bucks on lodging this is a great option.

I cannot love this place more! The location is on the east side of Glacier, near the Two Medicine entrance. It was quiet and filled with tall pines. The motel is exactly what you would expect for a vintage road trip motel. The rooms were very comfortable, with fridge and microwave and coffee maker. The owner grinds his own blend of coffee and it is so much better than the plastic packets in hotel rooms! There is no air conditioning (not very common in the Glacier area) but the windows give a good cross breeze and you can listen to the birds and critters! The owner checked us in, and we thought we were too late to get in the parks, but he was super nice and helpful and gave us a plan to see parts of the park that evening. That leads us to seeing a black Bear, 3 foxes, a bighorn sheep, and a moose! Also, stop by the trailer near by for a stone oven pizza or salad…super yummy! Don’t wait too late, they can run out (of crusts). The whole area is super chill, good for walking or biking.

We stayed one night in mid-June and enjoyed our stay! This is an old-fashioned lodge and it's family-run. Ryan, the innkeeper, is friendly and helpful and can answer your questions about Glacier and the surrounding area. We had a two queen room, and it included a fridge and coffeemaker. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and room was very clean. It was quiet at night! Bathroom looked like it had been updated in the recent past. We ate dinner at Serrano's (very good!) and got coffee and breakfast pastries from Brownie's, which is almost across the street from the motel. Highly recommend this nice little motel.

The property is run with love and passion by the owners. There are beautiful flowers. You fill that they care about guests. Definitlely recommend this motel.

Super nice cabins just outside the village. Easy walk to the village restaurants and shops.

Everything was awesome! Thank you for all your advice, tips and help. Only advice we would give is to add some insulation between the rooms. We could hear snoring through the walls. 😴

Had a good time on the entry to East Glacier during our overnight at Mountain Pine Motel. We love that it is a family owned operation.

Ryan the proprietor was friendly knowledgeable and efficient. He knew Glacier NP and helped us seem some great local hikes The cabins were warm and comfy and the surrounding town was wonderful
