I've had some lovely stays at The Water's Edge but I am not having one this evening. Avoid the "Library" building: it's surrounded by the parking lots, has no elevator, and has a glimpse of the water ONLY IF you can twist your neck and gaze through the parked cars--at least from the first floor. The fridge is my room is broken. The air-conditioner is noisy. The rooms in this "quaint" building are very close together. The TV is small and the console on which it sits is pretty shabby. The bathroom looks like it's located in a Best Western outside Milwaukee (sorry, Milwaukee). Luxury this is not. They are "very full" but I am VERY glad to be a guest for only one night--usually I hate to leave. Be careful when booking your room.

Nice stay at the Water’s Edge. Time share hotel with all the ammeneties. Beach (cold water) pool inside and out, gym, restaurante, bar etc etc Nice view from the room. We had two queen beds with balcony. There is a nice small town nearby to drive too.

Clean and well maintained resort. Nice spa facilities. Outdated pool and locker room facilities. Reasonable food options. Older rooms but comfortable.
Staff never really went the extra mile - save for Amy at the front desk. Everyone else seemed to be slightly bothered to be there. We went in March - so maybe the summer staff are better?

Water's Edge is a beautiful property. The landscaping and flowers are as nice as any place we have ever stayed. The staff are helpful and pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the guests are well taken care of. Our favorite part of our staff was sitting on our balcony overlooking the water and property. Very relaxing.

we went for a 2 day getaway and it was perfect. Service was amazing. Restaurant service was over the top. Just what we needed
