Very friendly staff and a lovely hotel

Delicious food & amazing customer service by Paula & the rest of the lovely staff. Will definitely be back to try afternoon tea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely celebration meal for a family birthday in the conservatory. The food was delicious and great value for money. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't have done more to make the visit special. Two of our party wandered through to the bar area which was really nice and we could have happily sat all afternoon. We will definitely be back.

We were ripped off with there black Friday afternoon tea coupons. After purchasing these over the last few years they have changed there terms. We feel very let down by the Torrance and after many years of being regular customers we will not be returning. They are more interested in profit. For the sake of ripping us off for £50 they will lose thousands in our future custom.

We had our wedding here on 24.02.2024, what can I say from start to finish the team were fantastic cannot fault them, from the planning right up until the day itself this team nailed it, a special shout out to Dominic our master of ceremony, he is an absolute credit to the Torrance team all of our guests loved him, Emily, Anya, Amy & Paula who helped me with my wedding dress at the end of the night were all amazing could not have done this without there help and professional manner, if anyone is thinking of this venue for their wedding, do it you will not be disappointed, Thanks so much Kenny & Sarah

Had a lovely dinner at the Torrance Hotel. We had the Village menu like a pre theatre menu , food was spot on , piping hot and tasty. Saw done meals coming out from the a la carte menu and they all looked delicious. Staff were so helpful and attentive and overall lovely ambience in the place will definitely be back soon.

I am bitterly disappointed in this hotel, I had bought a voucher for my grandparents Christmas and they booked to stay here on Monday 12th February and Tuesday 13th February. Both my Grandparents are elderly and use wheeled walking frames and we specifically asked if the hotel room would be suitable for them - it wasn’t there was not enough space to manoeuvre the walkers round the beds and we had to pay extra for this room . The beds were extremely uncomfortable with a very thin mattress. A lot of the food options on the menu were not available. My grandparents ended up cutting their visit short and were only offered half the money back as a refund. No apology or anything was ever offered. I will be advising everyone not to visit this hotel.

Hi, my brother got married in this hotel in October 2023, fantastic day from start to finish, we had a problem as our 15yr old son went missing from his room the following morning and was nowhere to be seen, we contacted the reception and they all acted in a rapid and professional manner to search the hotel and grounds, they said they were confident he wasn’t in the hotel or on the hotel grounds so advised us to contact the police, while I was on the phone to the police he walked through the front door, where he was was another story and absolutely nothing to do with the hotel. I’d just like to say how fantastic of a venue this was for my brothers wedding and everyone at the wedding agreed, fantastic service and staff, would not hesitate to come back to this hotel, special thanks to Andres and his staff at the reception for looking after us and all the other staff that morning for searching for my son, outstanding 👏❤️

Stayed here on Saturday night for a meal we had planned at a close restaurant.. We had a few points that put us off staying again I'm afraid because we actually like the interior of hotel. Firstly we were woken a few times with people talking and closing doors during the night. (We were in room 1, very close to reception) We had to shower with cold water in morning. Did report to reception and she said the maintenance team would be told. We didn't have any usb charging points in room which most hotels have nowadays, this wasn't a major problem but did mean I couldn't charge my phone as had no plug with me. The breakfast I was so looking forward to but was the biggest let down. Not the food, it was in bain Marie's and bacon was cold, it was more the service I'm afraid. No toast or bread of any kind out, no coffee or tea either until we asked for it . The young staff on were obviously very inexperienced. The waiter brought us a coffee eventually and was a shot of Americano in a very large cup with a small jug of cold milk. It was awful so after asking for some toast we said could we maybe get some hot milk in the coffee please . He took cups away and brought back full cups but it was stone cold.still. A table of four near us has finished bfast before they could see anyone to ask for toast and coffee. Just very disappointed, so has put us off going back which is a shame.
