Apartment overhead,evening and morning clomping on stairs, etc. near main road, trucks noisy. Will not stay here again

Not our first visit here, we like room 21, it was a nice day for chillaxin ! We will be back, probably around Easter. Its convenient, not a lot of road noise, of course we carry a fan with us to help drown out any noise, inexpensive for what we are looking for !

I pulled in and parked, and that was enough for me. It was trashy and scary. I honestly didn’t feel safe. There was a large group of people having some kind of gathering by the gazebo with a grill going and their suv parked in the grass and music playing loudly from it. There were a lot of hotel room doors hanging open with kids hanging out on the stairs and all around the parking lot. It honestly looked like these people were living here and not taking care of the place. I sat for a minute thinking about if I even wanted to check in. I got out of the car, took a few steps, and got right back into my car. I didn’t even feel safe checking in, so there was no way my husband and I were going to sleep there. We went up to the sleep inn and suites which was a great stay!
My husband contacted them about a refund and the lady was polite and directed us back to *******. Turned out we had the “pay later” option so I wasn’t going to be charged until checkin anyway. ******* offered to contact the red carpet to make sure we wouldn’t be charged for not showing up. ******* was great. The hotel-stay away!!
