A great space and very reasonably priced when split among our large group. Very comfy beds & pillows, clean throughout and a big kitchen with many plates/pots/pans etc. 5 min bus ride from Eastbourne station and carpark was super handy. Would recommend for large groups eager for a weekend away.

We had a wonderful stay at the YHA Eastbourne, a beautiful cherry tree gave us a warm welcome.

lovely warden, relaxed atmosphere and as usual with YHA good self catering kitchen which saves a fortune on eating out, small hostel for size of town so normally need to book well in advance on frequent bus route often said to be one of the best bus journeys in the country

Hostel good location for South Downs Way. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable amount of parking by hostel. Good bus service (bus stop by hostel). Good self-catering kitchen. Rooms clean, with good shower, although in my room flushing the loo a bit of an art!

Absolutely fantastic hostel! Very well kept, very clean.and beds are very comfy! There are bus stops outside hostel which goes to either Eastbourne or Brighton. Definitely would recommend staying here! Susan was very helpful., made us feel very welcome. A++++

The location is tops. The kitchen facilities are amazing. The hostel ambience is welcoming and reassuring. The beds are comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. Most of all, the staff obviously enjoy their job and are knowledgeable about the area. Our first visit to a YHA after a gap of 50 years made us realise what we had been missing.

What a great place to stay. The owner/keeper is just the best. She really goes all the way to make you feel welcome. She helps wherever she can. The hostel is ideally located . Close to cycling routes, the seven Sisters, the beach but also a bus stop away from the supermarket. Everything is clean and the kitchen well equipped.

Spent a restful night at the hostel with the family . Great base to explore the area. Very lovely and helpful staff during our visit. Grateful to staff for personal touch. Overall, great value for money . Look forward to my next stay!

21 of us from my local walking group came and stayed here for a long weekend away. Sue, the Manager was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This is our first time to Eastbourne and will certainly not be our last, looking forward to returning here soon, so much more still to explore here, many thanks again Sue.
