It was really enjoyable and relaxing.breakfast was tasty thanks to the staff and chef for a healthy breakfast, especially to Mark he really make us feel welcome and comfortable during our breakfast he deserved to be recognised as I observed he loves his job,
Some review I saw cleanliness is poor but it was the opposite as I'm allergic to dust but it was clean and everything was perfect for the price it was 5/5.
Definitely we stay again.

Refurbished room clean and tidy . Main bed comfortable but sofa bed mattress very thin and quite uncomfortable for the children. Breakfast good selection

We stayed here as we were visiting the zoo (which is around 10/15mins away so great location). Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Acknowledged our children who were with their VIP bands! Check in was smooth and we had a room near the back of the hotel which was very quiet despite being next to a relatively busy road. It is a bit of a labyrinth to get around but lots of signage. The room itself was well equipped, plenty of space. Bed and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a little tired in places (things like silicone sealant could do with being replaced) but it was clean. We didn't eat in the hotel as we ate out but there is an Asda express, Greggs and Starbucks next door at the petrol station if you're after something quick. Kids loved the pool, changing rooms were clean, they provide towels, just need £1 for lockers...as someone else mentioned the pool/gym could do with a lick of paint but it was fine for what we used it for! Would stay again...big thank you to the staff. You make the hotel what it is! 🙂

Delightful place, away from the hassle and buzzle. Has a Starbucks cafe on site managed by hotel staff. All the staff were helpful.
The is a bus stop by the hotel if you are xoing from Chester. Similarly on the opposite side, one can get two buses into Chester.
The BP petrol station next to hotel also has a Starbucks cafe and small shop outlet.

Just returned from a two night stay. This was a business trip with a colleague. The hotel inside is refurbished and clean. My room was spotless, as was the bathroom. Bed was extremely comfy. Now the most important thing to say, the staff could not have done more for us. We used the desk space on the ground floor to work. And the food especially the breakfast was amazing - seriously great food. Yes I would recommend and I would stay here again. Overall a perfect stay. Can’t fault it at all.

Good value for Chester. Ring road location so 10 min drive to city center parking or take nearby park n ride. Property is a bit of a labyrinthine puzzle. I had ten 90 degree turns to get to my room (409, curiously on the second floor). Signage needs to be improved - almost certainly doesn't meet fire safety standards. Room (Executive) was recently renovated. Good size. Internet tv not working, just basic channels. This seems to be a common problem. Coffee maker not working. Breakfast ok. Bar is brightly lit, zero atmosphere. Pleasant staff. IHG status acknowledged at check-in in.

We had a truly excellent stay on our first visit to this hotel. Great early check in really sets the tone for the stay. Lovely Executive family room with nice rear view. Sleep quality was superb. Breakfast service until 9. 30 and the choice and quality of the food was excellent together with attentive, friendly service. The evening meal would be better served in the restaurant rather than the cafe bar as space is limited and it gets very busy hence long waiting times. The new menu is very big with a good Asian food selection. Good children's menu with the bonus that they eat free. We all enjoyed the food and the children loved the ice cream and pancakes. The swimming pool was not too busy and is a good size. No restrictions for children is a major bonus. Parking was free which is great bonus and the parking area is spacious. The hotel is two minutes from the A55 and 3 miles south of Chester. A true family friendly hotel which are getting harder to find nowadays. Great value for this quality. Highly recommended.

Great facilities bit worn but all working . Room was great and the food was lovely. The leisure facilities could do with painting but that didnt take away from the experience. Had food at night was really nice and staff were excellent. 3 courses for 22 quid 👍
