Selected this hotel for the location because it is in the neighborhood I intended spend the majority of time. I wasn’t expecting luxury. The room was clean but lacking some basic amenities; microwave, mini refrigerator, face tissues. Parking arrangement is horrendous but perhaps this is a city issue.

I always give the positives first. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. The room was clean. The restaurant was quiet even though the hotel was full and £26.99 for a starter, main course, drink and cooked breakfast the following day is a bargain. On the downside I stayed one night and it cost me £24 to park in their car park. The room was £54 so it cost me another 40% or so on top to park and I wasn’t made aware of this in advance. Additionally the hotel is full of contractors. It’s that sort of hotel. It didn’t matter to me but if you were with your family you might think otherwise. Overall not bad value but the parking is just a way of charging you more without advertising it. No doubt they will say that it’s not up to them etc but they obviously have a say as you get a 20% discount for staying there (yes that was the discounted parking price). I wish they would make it clear in advance.

Staff were very attentive, pleasant and helpful, they went to great lengths to ensure my son who suffers from a severe nut allergy was safe and well cared for with his good choice, preparation and service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service, thank you!!!

Great room with everything you need. Great bed! Great location. Car parking is limited but we parked at the train station and it was actually cheaper. We stayed here as a base for travelling into London, it was right on the edge of how far into the city we felt comfortable driving so we perfect. Cost less than £10 to get to from and around the centre of the city...
