In splendid Edinburgh, distance from the old city center is about 20 minutes by bus whose stop is a short walk from the property. It can offer more with a minimum of effort in managing the structure which all in all is characterized as being located in a typical Scottish building. Very poor cleaning, the carpet very dirty and dusty. Spartan but that wouldn't be the big obstacle. The towels are not replaced and keeping them for 3 days, as in my case, becomes complicated. The poor breakfast buffet offers bread to toast, packaged snacks, American coffee and some cold cuts of ham and cheese. It would take a little effort to manage differently also because it is not that cheap.

We stayed in this place on August 20 in room 2. The B&B is in a residential area, not very close to the center but well connected. We checked in using a code that Duncan sent us online and everything was correct. The guest house is average and clean but nothing special. You enter the room with a code and honestly I found the security to be poor, the door knobs did not work properly and inside, although everything was clean, it was very small. The bathroom was also very small and had accessories such as soap in sachets and towels. The furniture in the room is basic and quite old. The views overlooked a garden of an adjacent house and are beautiful. The common areas were very sober and honestly I didn't like it very much, however it is enough for one night. The Internet works correctly. The breakfast is good, you have practically everything, although the breakfast room is also small and not very organized, although Duncan works hard and well and is a very nice person. Finish by saying that I recommend seeing the photos and to stay one night it can be perfect.

The place is in a very quiet neighborhood half an hour from downtown, but there are buses a few blocks away. The room was very nice, on the second floor via stairs, and had a nice view. There was an iron and ironing board. The owner was very friendly.
