Adelphi Hotel

I stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, which was perfect for me. The room itself was clean and functional. The bed was comfy, there was a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. Heads up, there's no breakfast offered at the hotel. I grabbed food at a nearby cafe each morning, which wasn't a problem, but be sure to factor that extra cost into your budget. The room was a little on the small side, and I heard some noise from outside at times. It's not a fancy hotel, and there aren't any amenities beyond free Wi-Fi. The location, however, was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the tram stop, and most of Edinburgh's attractions were within a 10-15 minute drive. There's even free parking on-site, which is a major plus in the city. Overall, the Adelphi Hotel was a decent choice for my short stay. It's perfect if you're on a budget and don't mind a basic room without frills. Just be prepared to find breakfast elsewhere and manage your expectations.

Convenient location, clean room, friendly staff. There is everything you need for a pleasant pastime.

It's so warm and the staff Is Kind and discreet. Anytime we Needed help to find a Place to go they had the perfect solution. We also managed to book and Amazing bus trip for the highlands thanks to them. Booking here made the difference. Super Happy about It.

On the plus side, was convient for the purpose we required it. Needed a place to sleep and have shower. Did the purpose🫡 On the negative side,  1. had to pay an extra £10 cash, which was required on arrival as the booking arrival was after 2300hours😒 meaning we paid more than was advertised.  2. The curry smell! String curry smell at the reception area. The beddings were clean but got that curry smell. Obviously, if you dont mind this, then it shouldn't be an issue. 3. The carpets do need a change.  I know 🙄 I know.. its a budget hotel blah blah.. but the carpets are old and need a change. They are old, stained and shabby.. NOT a good look. If you are picky or a little ocd, would  not be recommended.
