I feel that the location is awesome but the window is shaking when wind is strong. Hotel bed is very comfortable but too many stairs in the hotel

Really nice hotel with great location. Just across the train station with 1 min to walk The hotel is really classic and decoration is really interesting. The wall is full of book and the lamp is decorated with old fax machines. Really cool The bed is not very big but is quite soft. The room is small but somehow bath is big. Very pleasant experience overall. Good for stay over for the train.

Hotel Indigo Edinburgh offers a stylish boutique experience in a central location, just a short walk from major attractions and Waverley Station. The rooms are cozy and thoughtfully designed with modern touches, and the beds are comfortable for a good night’s rest. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere feels warm and welcoming.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's right opposite the train station exit, making it super easy to get anywhere. The hotel is also very thoughtful, even providing some snacks. If cost isn't an issue, I'd highly recommend it to anyone preparing for exams.

The hotel is almost directly opposite Edinburgh's famous medieval architecture landmark, making its location incredibly convenient. Compared to the hotel I stayed at in Edinburgh for the first few days of my trip, this place's location, location, location is truly prime real estate. Photos of the staircase and hallway decor can be seen in previous Trip.com reviews; the ambiance is good, but in person, I found that they were just printed versions, which felt a bit rough and not quite like the moving staircases from Harry Potter. Also, there wasn't an enthusiastic staff member to explain things to us. When I asked, they simply said, 'They're all famous historical figures from Edinburgh, you probably won't recognize them, and I don't know all of them either...' Fine, but it was a bit of a missed opportunity. The main part of the room I stayed in had an elevator, but there was still a small flight of stairs, as shown in picture 4. This is typical for historic buildings; even the castle hotels I've stayed in before were like this, so I can accept it. The room itself was still a bit small. The card on the desk mentioned the hotel group's strict cleanliness standards and offered re-cleaning if unsatisfied. During my stay in the UK, one thing I really dislike about hotel shower designs is the consistent half-glass partition. Even 2/3 would be better! It made me have to shower very carefully to avoid flooding the bathroom. I don't know where that design concept came from. The complimentary biscuits, crisps, coffee and tea bags, and glass bottled water were all of decent quality, fitting the hotel's class. I found the hotel staff to be quite pleasant, and the hotel's buffet breakfast plus a-la-carte options were all standard and satisfactory. If I get the chance to visit Edinburgh again, this hotel is definitely worth considering for a return stay!

I booked three rooms of the same type, but two of them were tiny; there was barely any space to walk around once my luggage was in. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and close to attractions. The breakfast was pretty good too.

The location is fantastic, the room layout is very well-designed, facilities are complete, and the service is excellent. The staircase area is very picturesque; a kind and handsome gentleman even pulled us aside to explain the historical figures pictured near the staircase, though I didn't quite understand everything. Breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again next time.
