Modern and newly refurbished hotel overlooking St. Andrew’s Square. Restaurant and bar on site. Safe and walkable to train station, restaurants, shopping, Scottish National Portrait Gallery. The hop-on-hop-off buses are across the street. A truly sustainable hotel that cares about its imprint on the environment. Breakfast has lots of options. A room with a balcony was lovely for us. Very clean. Excellent staff! Thanks Zoltan for sharing your knowledge of whisky with my husband. We loved our stay here! Highly recommended.

This boutique hotel was the most perfect experience I’ve have ever had in a boutique hotel I have ever experienced! The staff was Amazing! Most helpful and friendly. I was upgraded to the honeymoon suite and I didn’t want to leave. The room had an beautiful L- Shaped terrace looking over the city. I was saddened to have to leave. stayed for weekend - so, on the plus side - hotel was in a great location and also very clean and tidy
Room itself clearly had a funky vibe, but and the very big but is the mattress was rock hard, and i was not able to sleep for 3 nights - sleeping on the floor might have been more comfortable - also a huge sink in the bathroom but then no where to really put stuff like a shelf or towel rail, but shower itself was good - but i would not return mainly in view of the awful mattress
