The room is quite spacious, and the tram goes to the door. But it's still a bit far to get to the city center. The tram takes seven stops to Princes Street. Going to the airport is about like this.

Nice hotel with nice staff. Food very good. Excellent location next to tram stop -good for city centre and airport The lack of ventilation/effective room aircon, badly let the hotel down. The windows didn't open in the rooms, which I understand, but the aircon was useless, leaving the room hot and stuffy. This stuffiness affected our ability to sleep.

I chose this place for the price firstly. And I expected cleanliness as most people choose to live in the centre and I experienced a dirty one there from a different company. This premier inn met my expectation which is perfect. I like the fact that it’s so easy to commute down to city centre. I got here by flight as th is place is close to the airport.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel. It was perfect for access to the city centre as the tram and train stops are literally outside the hotel. The trams run quite late too so you can come back and almost roll into bed! The staff were all very pleasant and the bar, restaurant and Costa areas provided nice spacious areas to relax in if you wanted to do that. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh.

Room 102 ( don't get it!) We were constantly disturbed by the noise of the air dryer in the toilets in the foyer which you could hear as clear as day in our room. Lasted 25 seconds each time and seemed to go off at least every 10 mins. Disturbed our sleep- so much for guaranteeing a good night!

We enjoyed our repeat stay in this Premier Inn - 3rd floor Premium Plus rooms. It is so comfortable and the location is perfect for an Edinburgh visit. Trams are every 7 minutes (a 3 day ticket costs £10) meaning you can access all major shops/attractions. There is no traffic noise, no sirens, no late night revellers. This is why we stay here. Also, the staff are lovely.

Was disappointed and dissatisfied on this particular visit to this hotel!!! We have been coming since it opened 13 years ago on a regular basis, but this time was terrible. Not the staff who are all lovely and can’t do enough for you, particularly Kerry at reception. We didn’t get a sleep on both nights from the noise above us. It was absolutely horrendous and went on almost all night, both nights!!! It sounded as if furniture was being moved. We had already booked up for December this year, but seriously considering cancelling!!!!!!!

The hotel is quite new. It is well positioned next to both the railway station and tram station with easy access to Edinburgh city. Trams run every 7 minutes. Our premium room was basically good, but already showing signs of wear and tear including cigarette burn on the carpet ! Loose electrical cable hanging down. However the biggest problem is the lack of WiFi - simply none provided on our second night. The front desk could not help resolve the issue. So please be aware.
