Terrible was kept awake all night with people below us tv on full blast till 4am shouting and smoking ********. Reported at reception but didn’t recieved an apology

Very friendly staff, the room was big enough for a couple, very comfortable and worm room. Everything makes you feel like home. The breakfast options is pretty much English breakfast, toasties, and yogurt. Could have more options, but for the price very decent and helpful staff. Definitely I would come back.

It feels like a normal hotel. It takes about 20 minutes by bus from Waverley Station, but there's a supermarket within walking distance and the hotel is close to the bus stop, so it wasn't too bad.
From a foreigner's perspective, it may be clean, but from a Japanese perspective, the bathroom and sink were not clean enough. Therefore, if you are a germophobe, I think it is better to choose a 5 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel.
This is a hotel that can be recommended for people who are not germaphobic.

The location is relatively remote, but Edinburgh is not that big and you can get around on foot. It is a very cost-effective hotel with very new facilities. You can consider continuing to stay at this hotel.
