La verdad que esta bien, excelente la ubicacion, la cama te deja dormir, si eres joven y te gusta compartir este es el hotel indicado, yo lo contraté porque solo necesitaba 1 noche

I was delighted to find a cheap bed for the night in an excellent location and a well organised set up. At 63 I was afraid I might be a bit old for a dormitory bed in a hostel but there was a good cross section of people and everyone I met was friendly and considerate. I’d definitely recommend and would return in the future.

The hostel is well located, it is close to most of the tourist places. The only issue we had was with the service, we were rushing in the morning to check-out on time (February 10, 2024) and leave our luggage in the proper room. In the afternoon when we returned, we realized our polaroid camera was not with us and we had two options, it was left behind the room’s door or it was on the luggage room, so we kindly ask the people at the reception to help us checking in the room. There was a guy (with mustache) and a girl (with shaved head) both of them started making faces at each other as if we were bothering them with our request (save to say they were alone at the reception, they were not doing any specific activity). We finally found our camera at the luggage room, and they were clearly bothered by the fact we kindly ask the guy to go to the room and check. After that, we stayed for about 2 hours at the lounge, and when buying a couple of sodas, the girl gave us an annoyed look as if she didn’t want to even see us, same happened when we asked them to open the door to take our bags and leave. Service is the most important to us when going to any place, and this type of attitudes just left us pretty disappointed, which would be their attitude if there was a real problem? Are they going to be annoyed because people request something that requires them just to stand up and move for 5 minutes or less?

My bag was stored there for a great price I was recommended by the castle people it was great to leave my bag cos it was big and bulky. I'm going to stay there next time I'm in Edinburgh because it's cheap but also they do movie nights and dinner smelt wonderful

Cet hostel est le meilleur où j’ai pu aller. La localisation est juste exceptionnelle, en pleine old town et au pied du château, on peut aller à pied partout . Rien à dire sur la propreté, c’est impeccable, on voit très souvent le ménage fait. La déco met bien dans le mood château donc c’est cool. Les chambres sont spacieuses, et détail important les lits superposés sont bien solides et ne font pas de bruits. On a donc pas peur de se retourner si on est dans le lit du haut haha. Les douches sont pratiques, on peut les utiliser comme cabine de rechange aussi, il y a de la musique tjrs donc ca met dans un bon mood. Le petit déjeuner coûte uniquement 3£ et il est très quali pour le prix c’est pratique. Les salons sont vraiment confortables pour se poser.Et surtout la meilleure partie, c’est l’ambiance de l’hostel! Je me sentais comme à la maison, super à l’aise, et plein de choses sont organisées tous les jours. Si vous souhaitez rencontrer du monde c’est l’idéal. Big up au pub crawl qui est vraiment cool. Tous les gens qui travaillent à l’auberge sont super gentils et seront vos amis. Nous avons même prolongé notre séjour tellement nous aimions cette auberge hahaha ! Nous sommes maintenant fan de Edinburgh et voulons revenir très vite ! Merci pour tout vous êtes géniaux !! Ps : vous croiserez peut être des esprits dans l’hostel au RDC, c’est un ancien orphelinat, et aussi hôpital pour les vétérans de guerre. Nous avons croisé « HairLess Joe » qui est devenu notre ami. Bisous !!

Lovely place to stay. Many social activities, kitchen, laundry service - very fast. Lovely staff. Great location. Enjoyed the spaces to relax indoors when the weather was not good outside. Also, being able to store luggage and use the facility even after check out on the day.

The location was perfect! Will admit that the walk up the hill was difficult for my older relatives. We were on the top floor too so that was a bit rough. Would encourage to get a cab if you're older and not used to walking up hill.

Booked out 3 rooms for a rugby tour, the rooms were clean and comfy. The facilities were also kept clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating, definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Edinburgh
