Just a wee to thank you and your fabulous staff for looking after us so well on Wednesday evening for Dads surprise 80th!! Everyone had a fantastic time and the service was top notch as always. Special shout out to Jordan who is a credit to the venue, seamless service as well as a tasty well portioned buffet. Thanks again

Hotel advertises itself as - lively bar with DJ! So why is this establishment advertising itself as a 4 star hote? Music is totally unacceptable to the residents, DJ noise drone of the BASE travels all the way through the hotel until early hours! Ear plugs provide supposed to mitigate the noise! My partner complained on 1st night nothing was done, portal message sent too same time no action taken! went to check out to request compensation and was told to email GM as not on shift. Eventually got a reply from GM to say no compensation will be offered as they advertise there 4 star hotel as lively bar! Absolutely unsatisfactory and I will be issuing county court summons to request a full refund plus interest.

Sadly the stay did not live up to expectation. Upon arrival I didn’t get the room I had pre- paid for and my room had been down graded and the reason given was this was because I’d booked as a solo occupancy. The room wasn’t fit for purpose and left me with a sleepless night. The hotel manager accepted this was a failing on the hotels part and as the hotel was full I was given very little alternatives. Breakfast this morning was equally poor by being served a cremated sausage sandwich. Sadly this showed there is clearly a lack of quality process before food leaves the kitchen or simply a lack of pride by the chef. On a positive note the front of house team were polite and very friendly. I had planned my stay to celebrate my 60th birthday and left me extremely disappointed

Simply stunning - it’s a spoil and luxury at a totally reasonable price Best martinis and friendly attentive staff Been twice , will go back many times. Rooms are beautifully and individually decorated. Not all have a view of a lovely green space but that doesn’t deter at all.

This was the most perfect place to stay! We enjoyed everything from the amazing rooms to the outstanding service! When they advertise Luxury without the outrageous prices, they mean it! The restaurant was amazing! The breakfast was sensational. Five STARS!

Utrolig fint hotell. Både rommet og fellesarealene var nydelige. Sengen var knallgod. Bra trykk i dusjen, noe som ikke er en selvfølge på hotell. Servicen var utrolig bra. Bagasjen ble bært opp på rommet. Frokosten var deilig, og drinkene i baren var og veldig gode. Kommer garantert tilbake hit!

I choose a property with a lift as have bad knees. The lift only serves 1/3 property. This wasn’t made clear on the ******* website. Receptionist clearly judged I could walk up two lifts despite asking to use the lift.
No clearly defined reception area.
Toothpaste all down the back of the en-suite door.
No way of adjusting room temperature in your room.
Old sash window nightmare to open to cool room. I had to stand on the dressing table and move mirror.
To say I booked as a treat for myself just left feeling underwhelmed.
