We had a fantastic stay here. The location is perfect, being so close to Waverley station and the Royal Mile. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the free tea and coffee provided for guests was a wonderful, highly appreciated touch. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Edinburgh!

the staff is extremely polite and the hotel itself is located right behind the royal mile, a fifteen-minute walk to and from the castle and the university of edinburgh. they have unlimited continental breakfast for just six pounds and there's unlimited coffee available for those who stay at the hotel...what more could you ask for? me and my friend had a wonderful stay!! :)

Stayed here for the Christmas Markets, hotel wad expensive as all hotels hike the prices for that time. Location was great, 5 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minute walk to the Christmas Market. Free coffee aswell!!

Not recommended. The room was small and stuffy, and the breakfast definitely wasn't worth it – just a few pieces of bread, some fruit, and coffee, and that's it. This hotel offers very poor value for money, and you can't even check in early.

A very modern looking hotel with excellent staff. The room was not the cleanest: seemed like it hadn't been dusted in several months, but overall, acceptable. A real shame the view from my window was a homeless encampment, but apart from that it was centrally located and close to all attractions.

Perfect location and being a guest at the hotel gets you discounted parking near by. Staff were welcoming and polite. Only things to note, there was no bin in the room and not enough towels/pillows - more of these could of been requested at reception but for convenience I would prefer these to already be in the room. All in all though, I would recommend and stay here again!
