I had specifically requested a high-floor room during my booking at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh, but unfortunately, I was assigned a room on the ground floor. This was quite disappointing as I was hoping for a better view, but the window offered no significant scenery. The room itself was decent and met basic expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The location is great, situated next to a shopping mall and very close to Princes Street, making it convenient for shopping and sightseeing. However, the experience was slightly marred by not receiving the room I had requested.

Location good, lovely little hotel. Rooms are quite compact but comfortable. Check in was really quick and the room was ready well ahead of check in.

Great experience, big room(luckily we got a high level room#530),delicious breakfast,nice staff especially Ryan, Sam,and a generous boy with long hair (sorry I forgot his name),strong recommendation!

Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh is always my go-to choice whenever I visit the city. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre, making it an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh.
The rooms are clean, elegantly designed, and well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of quality. The front desk service is excellent, with staff who are attentive and professional.

Very pretty hotel but a bit far from the station (especially if you're lugging luggage). But then again, Edinburgh is all uphill so ..
Whatever it is, it was worth the hike as it was a warm and comforting hotel.

About 10-12 mins walk from train station. Got to the hotel to maybe leave luggage till check in time. Room ready (1pm) π€
Was able to leave luggage as our train was only at 7pm.
Breakfast worth paying for. Absolutely fabulous. Lots of friendly, attentive staff. Thank you π
