Really handy for a weekend visit to the Playhouse. Easy to park and a short stroll into Edinburgh. Will certainly use again

Wow what a gem! Right from the start Aurora made us feel so welcome at this beautiful boutique hotel! Bed was so soft and had everything we could want. Sofias Lebanese restaurant attached to this premises had really good food. Yum. Continental breakfast was really good huge choice of wares. Do your self a favour and spend the night or 2!

Room size fantastic. Bed VERY Comfy. Quiet at night. Free standing bath and shower. Room immaculate. Hairdryer in room. Continental breakfast really good in a lovely breakfast room. 10 mins walk into Edinburgh City Centre. All staff were really helpful and pleasant. Special thanks to AURORA who arranged a second night for us. We were so blown away by the room that we just had to book another night as soon as we arrived. Aurora was fantastic at quickly arranging this, adding breakfast, advising where to go, arranging a taxi etc, all with a fabulous sense of humour. She’s definitely a great asset to this fabulous hotel.

Lots of petty savings choices detract from what would otherwise be a nice experience. Examples are: checkout required at 10:30; staff are apparently required to use their own cell phones when on emergency duty, so guests must keep track of the daily change in the emergency number; concrete steps leading to entrance have been poured improperly, are irregular in height and are therefore dangerous to anyone lugging a suitcase down to street level; my window (and likely others) had been painted shut; porridge, the only hot component of the continental breakfast, is no longer made but is still advertised as available; staff is undertrained in the rudiments of hospitality. No one can be bothered to, for example, reprint the menu to reflect reality or design the directions to the hotel so that out-of-towners can easily follow them. They just don't care that much.

Really lovely room. Beautiful. Fabulous after hours check in and great communication. A bit of maintenance needed on the bathroom - grout replacement needed and hanging lightbulb, but these were relatively minor cosmetic. The sheets were a bit scratchy. Suggest updating to softer ones, but will definitely stay again

Lindo hotel, a unos 20 minutos caminando del casco Viejo, la habitación individual muy limpia, cama muy cómoda, ducha a excelente presión, pero mal diseñada porque.se sale el agua de la zona y llega hasta la recámara, buenas amenidades y desayuno

stayed there for the France game new hotel for us .Got there about 7,30 checked in was nice and very quiet went out for food to the abby bar .of course it was raining .in Edinburgh again .had a shower in the morning good size reasonable price will be back maybe

The hotel was lovely and the staff are very friendly, i liked that they had things like toothbrushes and razors in the bathroom so if you’ve forgotten them they are there
