Large modern but comfortable room with unobstructed view on the castle. Excellent bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. In the heart of the city. All sights are in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We will surely come back to this place

Just had an incredible three night stay at The Rutland. We were surprised and delighted by an upgrade at check in from a room to a luxury apar**ent - we were in awe! It was so luxurious and comfortable, on a quiet side street. Decor and amenities were impeccable and the staff were all brilliant. Breakfast and dinner at The Huxley were delicious and the location was perfect to walk to all the main sights.. It was the perfect way to start our holiday in Scotland and would go back or recommend without hesitation.

Ideal serviced apar**ents , nearby parking and brilliant meal at Kyloe . Superbly central , well fitted , spacious , luxurious and everything you’d expect as part of the successful Signature Group which we go back to time and time again . We’ll be back .

The Rutland is AMAZING!! Nice, spacious rooms with all sorts of extra special touches (my husband LOVED the radios already turned on to classical music station)! The breakfast in the Huxley was fantastic and we also really enjoyed getting drinks there and at the Gin Emporium after a day of sightseeing. A really fabulous place, we will definitely be back!

We only stayed for one night but wouldn’t hesitate to return. The two bedroom top floor suite/apar**ent was of the very highest standard imaginable really comfortable beds very large bath with an albeit complicated shower. My wife managed to flood the bathroom by accidentally turning on the jets in the bath. Don’t let that put you off, it was actually very funny. The furniture in the lounge and kitchen area is fantastic and we can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s probably better than most peoples homes and if you have wanted a two bed accommodation you couldn’t look for much better than this anywhere

Wow! What an amazing hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of Edinburgh! We have so much enjoyed the beautiful, spacios and luxerious apar**ent we had. The Rutland - staff made us feel so welcome. They made an effort for us which made a lovely weekend-trip turn out to be amazing. The restaurants connected to the hotel are the Huxley and Kylo. At the Huxley we enjoyed a delicious a la carte breakfast and a visit to Kylo is a must. The food is absolutely fabolous, just like the people working there. It is an experiance I really recommend. Thank you Rutland for making our weekend away a trip we never will forget!
