There is a Bluetooth speaker on the roof, which can be connected to Bluetooth to play songs. The room is very big, very new, well decorated, hygienic and clean, and the bathroom is also very large. The facilities are very complete and overall very good.

Je n' ai vraiment pas eu de chance avec cet hôtel ! Parlons de la chambre : les fenêtres ne s ouvrent pas. Elles ont été bloquées délibérément ! Pas de possibilité d aération ce qui est inconfortable . Le ménage n était pas fait. Après réclamation le 1er jour celui-ci a été effectué mais le 2eme jour c est la réceptionniste qui a dû s en occuper elle même ! Le petit déjeuner du 1er jour n était pas installé. Bref je ne recommande pas cet hôtel lequel manque visiblement de personnel.

Was not expecting that “brisk hiking” was literally meant in their website as hotel is quite far from train station (take a £6 Uber to go to the hotel instead). Located in the Old Town Area, very near to Edinburgh Castle, Grassmarket and Royal Mile. Need a bus ride to the City Center. Our room 302 was very spacious. Front desk (shout out to Yasmin!) was very helpful and accommodating. Due to their sister bar, it is a little noisy at night but manageable.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. They describe themselves as a cross between a boutique hotel and a hostel and that is about right. Our room was clean and very comfortable
