This is a very lovely hotel in which to stay. The staff is very welcoming, approachable and accommodating. Our room was lovely and clean and comfortable, although the room was dominated by a four poster bed (on which I cracked my head during the night as I was trying to squeeze around the side of it to get back in). There is very little space around the bed and is not ideal for those of us who travel with suitcases. There was a refrigerator, which was useful, and a fan but it was too loud to keep on at night. Without it, the room became very hot indeed but, in opening the window, the outside sounds penetrated the room. The room itself was very modern and beautiful and it is a special hotel, great for a night or two if you just have a small case. The food in the hotel is also of very good quality and you get a substantial amount. The service was quite slow, though. The restaurant decor is absolutely stunning. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a short stay.

Really friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Only slight downside is the bed was not that comfortable. The mattress was uncomfortable. Sorry.

Lovely little hotel with very comfortable, well equipped rooms. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant and bar are well worth a visit with great food at a good price and a great range of cocktails.

Really comfortable beds, ghd straightners which saved my wife taking hers. Shampoo and conditioner smelt amazing.We were in room 9 which could be a little noisy early morning with bin lorries and the like,but wouldn't stop us from staying again.

Nice little hotel at a great location. Staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in to drop off our bags, and they’d made sure to put them in the room for when we got back. They also provided snack bags when we had to leave before breakfast one day. Although the breakfast was objectively decent (set menu), there aren’t a lot of options if you don’t eat pork or eggs. Both waffles and granola were great though. The bed was ok, but the pillows were very voluminous and hard, so they weren’t very comfortable to sleep on. We couldn’t hear the bar downstairs, but even though we had the double windows closed, there was a lot of noise getting in from the alley. It wasn’t too much of a bother for us, but not ideal if you’re sensitive to noise. Cleanliness was generally good, but I do wish that they’d have emptied the bin in the bathroom from the previous guests. There also wasn’t a bin in the actual room, so we to put our garbage in bags and left it near the door every day. Not very accessible as there are a lot of stairs.

Friendly, efficient staff, a buzzing bar, a cracking breakfast and bedrooms with everything you could possibly need - all in a great location. We loved our stay and will be back again for the Festival.

Really nice hotel in such a central location. Room had everything you could need - well stocked mini fridge, hairdryer, straighteners, coffee machine. Bed was big and comfy. Only thing I would say is we could have done with some more storage space in the bathroom as there was no shelf or anything to put our toiletries. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a beautiful relaxed stay. Staff were all so nice. Place was spotlessly clean and quite luxurious. There's a really nice vibe to the whole place. Breakfast was also fabulous. Really glad we booked and can't wait to go back.
