The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre so we were able to walk to most places which allowed us to save on taxi and bus rides. There are also supermarkets nearby and the kitchen was well-equipped which is great for a parent who has a toddler who is a fussy easter. I gave cleanliness a -1 because the rug was dusty and wasn't properly vaccummed, and another -1 for amenities because there were some parts of the apartment that were not well maintained e.g. the partition door was hard to close and we could not close it properly + a substantial part of the kitchen counter was chipped off.

I traveled to Edinburgh with my daughter. The hotel is located in the quieter West End. Kitchen utensils, washing machines, dishwashers, etc. are all available. There is a bus at the door, and it is very convenient to go to Prince Street and other attractions. The sofa bed is a little small, but it is good overall.

Our apartment was not as clean and looked a bit old/worn out. Also there was an issue with hot water, for whatever reason, there was not enough hot water for 2 to shower. The water would run out until morning…
