The location is really convenient, 3 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the castle. The only drawback is that you have to carry your luggage and climb the spiral staircase to the 4th or 5th floor. It's my first time staying in a youth hostel, and it's much better than I expected. I made my own breakfast and met friends in the B&B to play together. I love it here. The price-performance ratio is very high in Edinburgh

Except that there is no elevator, everything else is super five-star! For this price and location, it is the best value for money on Prince Street! Go downstairs and walk down the 20-meter (very close anyway) slope to Princes Street, diagonally across from Edinburgh Station. I really can’t fault it except that there is no elevator!

We were expecting a hotel room given the price and not a youth hostel.
The staff is very friendly but frankly that was not at all what we had understood when booking. Furthermore, paying almost €300 per night for a youth hostel is simply unaffordable.
We were in a good place and match day but it's absolutely not worth that price. Very very disappointed.

Yan was a brilliant host and accommodated to our needs. The hostel was clean and warm. It is in a perfect, central location and has easy access to transport and into the city. Great for friends and single travellers

As a women, I felt really safe here even in my mixed dorm room.. It was very clean and quiet, Yann was such a lovely and helpful host. I was so glad I found this hostel, right in the middle of the city and it made it easy to reach all the tourist and areas of interest. Showers were great, hot water and more importantly completely clean. I liked the curtain across the bunk bed and felt I had good privacy in a mixed dorm room. Kitchen is really good, the main entrance/chill out area is nice and I ended up playing card games with some of the other people staying in th same room as me. I'd reccomend this to anyone solo travelling in Edinburgh and I'd love to stay again.

I never expected that it’s accessible to all the area roaming around Edinburgh I never used of public transportation even though is only 2 minutes besides bus and train stations. Staffs are all friendly.
