Stayed here 8th April for 2 nights. Staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. Clean comfortable quiet room. Excellent location and access to train across the road into Edinburgh. 12 min journey £4.10 return or £2.70 with senior railcard. Highlight was the buffet breakfast. Wide choice and cooked breakfast piping hot and cooked fresh. The two ladies doing the breakfast service were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed it. I will return and stay here when next in the area.

I was in Edinburgh during a very stressful uncertain time as my husband was in critical care in Edinburgh Royal infirmary. The hotel was wonderful..and I'd like to mention a beautiful wonderful receptionist Angela who went above and beyond to look out for me .. Cannot be grateful enough

Very unclean food under the bed , staff were not helpful when asked for a refund. Customer service phone number were not answering. Not a good experience. Not worth the money at all. Never coming back

Positives - Comfortable bed - Ideal location - Quite night sleep Negatives - Room had a strong damp smell - Bathroom and carpet didn’t feel clean - Poor quality breakfast - Limited baby friendly parking

This is my choice for hotels in Edinburgh. It’s far enough away from the city center so the price is very reasonable. There’s a bus stop right outside and you can catch the 30 bus all the way into town for £2, and the train station is a 5 minute walk away. A 5 minute walk in the other direction there is a shopping court.

Bed jug made on arrival bins not emptied with sanatary products visible. I use a walking stick and lift did not work for full weekend. Room had not been dusted as was visible cobwebs and hairs in the bed sheets. Very poor.

This hotel is in a very convenient spot with easy access from the A1 and having a train station nearby, with connections to both Edinburgh and T****bank. Will definately stay again. The pub next door was also fantastic.

It’s relatively new, well maintained with bulk standard Premier Inn rooms. Free and ample parking, easy to get to and not far from a local rail service into Edinburgh Waverley. Staff were very helpful. The only reservation I have is with the Green King restaurant / pub attached as it seemed to close early if there weren’t enough customers.
