航班晚點深夜從倫敦趕到愛丁堡，到酒店已經凌晨一點多了，reception有人值班，而且很nice！房間在入口正上方，床品很舒服，第二天早餐也很棒，但空間有限 要排排隊，有時間可以慢悠悠享受一下！

I think it is very cool looking hotel, it did state it was renovated recently but you can’t tell it from bathrooms as radiator was leaking badly. Breakfast was nice but by the 9am mark they ran out of some items. Staff were lovely.

The service at the Scott was exceptional. I had a gentleman called Fraser, who was so attentive, and gave me help with discounts when booking my next trip. He took the time to make me feel very welcome and shared how my stay would be even better next time. Definitely a breath of fresh air. I travel a lot and in many different countries. He was genuinely interested, and went the extra mile with the service. I’m going to stay here whenever I visit my children in Edinburgh. Hopefully, he will be on duty 😊

Quaint heritage building giving feel of living in a manor. Food options are limited and a bit bland for my taste. Several good options nearby. Staff is super sweet and luggage is brought to the room. No lift so that is a point for elderly. They try to accommodate in ground floor. Inside the university campus giving more atmosphere.

The Scott Hotel team went out of their way to help us check in early after our sleepless night on the Caledonian Sleeper. This is a lovely hotel and we will be back to stay at it again.
We gave 3/5 stars for the areas surrounding The Scott Hotel as we think more can be done with The Scholar’s bar next door, which is the option as a hotel bar for The Scott Hotel. Perhaps install more welcoming lighting as it was very brightly lit.
But that’s a minor quibble about our fantastic stay.

Excellent location. 15 min bus ride from the center. 40 min bus ride from the airport. Place is legendary. Staff was wonderful, complimentary gifts for honeymoon couple. For this price, we felt like a royal family member, it was amazing. Clean, fresh, quite, nothing too luxury but just on point. Chocolates and Whiskey (The Scott distilerry) was a-maz-ing.

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were really spacious and modern and we had a little extra space to sit and read whilst also looking at arthur’s seat. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was great! Breakfast was good, and loved that you could come and help yourself to coffee any time of the day with takeaway cups available. Parking was limited but we were lucky to get a spot in front of the hotel. Would definitely stay again!
