It is a hotel with character, which was a fresh change from the cookie-cutter hotel rooms you get with the major chains. I was also particularly happy that the room came with a standing fan. I like to have a fan running when I sleep, and this one was perfect.
Note that the onsite parking lot fills up, but you can get additional parking at a stone lot where trucks and stuff are kept across the street. As I chose the place for its free parking, I asked about that when I checked in, and was directed to use that lot if the other was full (which is was)

Ideally located for us on the way; we had a large economy room on the top floor. It was very hot there. To help with that there was a fan and the window could be opened. Unfortunately no minibar, but that's probably because it was a cheaper room. Everything was clean and tidy; we found everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was great!
