I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Mangroovy El Gouna and I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of my experience. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional. The rooms, public areas, and facilities were always spotless and very well maintained. The beach was beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure guests can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable environment. The swimming pool area was also excellent, and I would like to especially mention the pool staff. The young men working around the pool were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always greeted guests with a smile, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The service was outstanding. Every member of the staff was professional, helpful, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The food was delicious, with a great variety of choices and excellent quality at every meal. I would especially like to thank the housekeeping staff for their exceptional work and attention to detail. Their dedication played a big part in making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would also like to express my appreciation to everyone in the restaurant. They were all kind, friendly, and attentive. A special thank you to Amr for his excellent service and warm hospitality. Finally, I would like to thank the hotel manager, Harmyn, for maintaining such high standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. We booked this hotel when it didn’t have a single review on Google. Even though we’ve been to Egypt many times before, we were a little worried. We usually stay at Rixos hotels, but this time we decided to take a chance. The hotel impressed us from the moment we arrived. The reception staff were extremely helpful, especially Arwa and Yosef, who took great care of us. We had an issue with the room initially assigned to us, but it was resolved immediately. Our luggage was moved, and a new room was prepared and adjusted for the number of guests by adding an extra bed. There is always space available by the pool, even when some guests try to reserve sunbeds. Hassan keeps a close eye on the situation and notices when people have been away for a long time. He always finds a way to free up or add a sunbed, ensuring that nobody is left without a place to relax. The food is very diverse, and the executive chef is excellent. He listens to guest feedback and responds quickly. Everyone is polite, open, and genuinely caring. There is a wide selection of meat dishes. As a vegetarian, there were moments when I felt I could only eat salad, but by the very next dinner there was already a much broader range of vegetarian options available. The à la carte restaurant is very interesting and elegantly presented; reservations must be made a day in advance. Ahmed, the restaurant manager, prepared a true feast for us and made us feel like part of the family. Mahmoud was responsible for keeping our room spotless. He is a wonderful young man. The room was cleaned every day, fresh towels were provided, and he worked so discreetly that you barely noticed he was there. The pool bar has its own menu. You can scan a QR code and place an order. The selection mainly includes fries and a chicken hot dog–style sandwich. Everything is very tasty and prepared fresh. Mr. Hassan, the head waiter, maintains exceptionally high service standards. At the same time, it is clear that there is a very friendly atmosphere among the staff. You can tell that the team is well cared for, which is not always something you encounter in Egyptian hotels. And finally, there is the legendary Helmy — the boss of all bosses. He doesn’t sit behind a desk; he is out there with the guests and staff, listening, helping, and making sure everything runs smoothly. This is a wonderful hotel for relaxation, couples, and anyone looking for peace and quiet. There are no water slides, loud entertainment programs, or constant noise, so this is definitely not a party hotel. It’s worth keeping this in mind, as we heard many complaints from guests who had not checked this beforehand. The weakest point is the beach. It is only about a five-minute walk away, but the hotel should invest in better food and beverage facilities there, as well as more varied music and entertainment.
