The location within walking distance of the HMB state beach and a really good local restaurant make staying at The Cypress a real pleasure. Views of the surf from the rooms in the main building are glorious, and the architecture is such that one can still enjoy complete privacy while enjoying the view. We have stayed here many times over the years and have never had any complaints.

Serene getaway, lovely decorated Inn with yummy daily wine hour including delicious chocolate-chip cookies, room balconies with fantastic ocean view, beautifully remodeled bathrooms and great staff. We have been staying here for many years and we love it! Reg is a wonderful host - great sense of humor, very accommodating and lovely to talk to! Nice dining options nearby, e.g. Miramar Beach Restaurant, Beach Distillery, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company.

My wife & I stayed here one night for a quick ocean get away from the kids. We were initially looking to stay at the fancy place in town but they were full, it was a blessing because we would have never found Cypress Inn! The room was so beautiful, stylish, clean and the view was breath-taking. To truly escape the hustle n bustle and have what was seemingly a semi private beach experience was just what we needed. Staff was amazing, breakfast that was included was delicious and came right at our designated time. This place is truly a gem and extremely well operated. We’ll definitely be back! But you know, you may not like it ;-)

This place was awesome. From the front desk (Reg) to the cookies and coffee station to the wine and cheese happy hour to the fluffy robes to the sound of the breakers right below our window...and the breakfast delivered to your room in the morning! i mean this place has it all. We live 1600 miles away but seriously would consider a special jag in any of our future vacation plans.
