Myself and 5 friends stayed at Hotel Casado in March 2023, we had two triple rooms which each had a double bed and a single bed. The rooms are slightly dated and on the small side, however had everything we needed for a great ski trip - realistically we didn't spend much time in the room as expected on a trip like this. The only downside of our whole experience was the room being really warm, especially at night, which made it hard to get a good nights sleep. Without air con the only option was to open the window, this did help with the heat although had the downside of then being woken by people leaving bars/clubs in the early hours. On check-in we paid for breakfast for each morning which we all agreed was a great inves**ent ($5 per person, per day). This meant each morning we only had to stroll downstairs to fuel up on the buffet before hitting the slopes. The breakfast buffet had: a variety of breads/toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, variety of pastries, yogurts, honey, cereal, milk, variety of juices, water and a coffee machine with a variety of hot drinks. We bought our ski passes before arriving through the Grandvalira website and this meant the staff on reception were able to print our passes there and then for us and saved us a trip to collect them from elsewhere. The hotel offers a locker per room which have plenty of space for skis, boots, helmet etc, and this locker room has a back door that you use each day to walk to the slopes. The walk is just round the corner from the slopes and is a massive highlight of the hotel. Any closer to the slopes and it'd be ski-in/ski-out. All of the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful, especially on the last day in which we were allowed to keep one of our rooms later than the check-out time which enabled us to get an additional day of skiing before we left to travel back home. Thank you again for that! Overall Hotel Casado is a great choice for a base for your ski trip, don't expect the rooms to be luxury but instead think clean and comfortable with all the essentials. I'd recommend bringing ear plugs to avoid the noise with the windows open at night and highly recommend paying for the breakfast on arrival to allow you to get onto the slopes in the morning as quickly as possible. Thanks again for a great stay at Hotel Casado.

Amazing hotel!!! Such a good location to the lifts at Pas. We previously stayed ski in/out and this was just as close as it's only a 2 min walk from the locker room to the Solana lift. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were around if we had any questions. Quiet at nighttime, comfortable beds, spacious rooms with huge windows, close to supermarkets and shops. Thank you so much for making our first holiday so comfortable!

Ok. Stayed here 13 to 20 Feb. Staff were friendly and rooms were average. A ski hotel peak season for 140 quid a night I guess I would not expect much more. At check in I asked the receptionist where to park? She directed me to a covered parking area and said it’s around 70 euros discounted for a week stay. I drove up to the car park and left my car there until the end of the vacation. When I paid it was 130 Euros. I questioned the amount in some broken French, and the guy on the intercom said you had to register the car on arrival. Yet there were no English instructions telling me this. If the girl on reception had informed me I would be 60 euros better off. Would have helped after an expensive ski holiday. On another note, wifi is appalling in rooms. I think in todays climate that’s pretty inexcusable. People need to work, kids need to play at times. Surely a drive to offer good wifi coverage is not much to ask. I wasn’t expecting Four Seasons but for me this hotel and rooms and services is a three at best.

Very very pleased with our time at the hotel Casado. Has everything you need of a good B & B hotel. Have their own lockers and is 3 minute walk from the lifts. Only slight criticism I would make is on the back it was quite noisy at night so we had to keep window closed which meant it got rather warm and stuffy. But that's a minor criticism. Good hot showers. Breakfasts are good and filling and the staff are super friendly and efficient. Would definitely go again. Nice catalan restaurant next door which is worth a try one night.
