Hampton Inn & Suites El Paso-East

We had a great experience checking in and our room was clean and spacious.

The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. The desk clerk needs training. She was friendly, but not knowledgeable. I had to go back to the car to get the confirmation number. Then she found the reservation under the name provided. She did not acknowledge us as a member. She did offer free water, She asked me to verify the amount being approved. Then she mentioned the $100 for incidentals. She did not mention the breakfast times. She was not knowledgeable about local restaurants. The location is close to several restaurants, but the traffic jam to get to them is trying. The breakfast was pretty well done. The only meat was a sprinkling of chorizo in the potatoes. There were no spoons in the limited cereal toppings. The room was good size. Good mattress. The room was the near the freeway and noisy. There was not hot water. After the unmarked hot water was on for 20 minutes, it got up to lukewarm. The toilet flushed with a long noise sequence while taking a long time to refill. The A/C blew from the bottom of the bed into the guests' faces. There was no notepad and pen. The fitness center was well equipped. The TV above the treadmill had no signal.

Other than the incredibly expensive pet fee of $75 for one night, we thought this hotel was great. Clean and newish with wonderful pillows and a comfy bed. The shower pressure was really powerful too. The outside area was sufficient for out pup so we would definitely stay here again

I spent the night here on an eastbound roadtrip with family. The hotel was noticeably clean and “crisp”, even from the parking lot. The woman at the front desk was very kind and we were impressed with the complimentary coffee, water, and cookies at check in time. The room was a nice size, clean, and quiet. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants so finding dinner was no problem. Breakfast in the morning was a pleasant start to the day. I would book at this property again.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff at check-in was very cordial and helpful. Checkout staff was on his cell phone did not ask any questions about the stay or talk to me in anyway, except to acknowledge the return of the room key.
