I would not feel safe returning to this hotel The door to my room was open The wardrobe containing the safe both both wide open Nothing was taken The housekeepers card was still in situ the room has been cleaned The manager said that only I knew the code and the rooms had NEVER been left open and neither had happened before This ruined my holiday

Leuk en net hotel. Ruime nette kamer. Verzorgd ontbijt en diner. Ruime gratis parking voor de huurwagen. Prijs kwaliteit zit dit best ok. Jammer dat met binnen moest ontbijten terwijl er zo een mooi buitenterras beschikbaar was. Vriendelijk personeel.

We have stayed here previously, and although the rooms are dated and tired, it has been a pleasant stay. Since we stayed here last September though, standards have not just fallen, they have dropped off of a cliff. The beds in the room were ok and the lined was clean, but the pillows were flat and floppy and had seen better days. The floor in the room needed a good clean, and the shower area in the bathroom needed a good deep clean as there was mold in the grouting between the tiles. The toilet was badly scratched and damaged and needed replacing. The outside swimming pool was filthy with a layer of dust and scum floating on it, and leaves and other debris floating around. Around the pool was also dirty with old dried birds mess all over the floor, and on some of the beds. You also often had a strong smell of drains when the wind blew in a certain direction. When we complained about the condition of the pool not being swimmable, the person on reception became very defensive and said that the pool didn't open with a lifeguard until June but we could swim in it at our own risk. She did not want to take on board at all that this was not our issue, but the health risk of a dirty, unhygienic pool and that they were advertising as having an outdoor swimming pool that people could use, regardless of a lifeguard being present. However we later saw someone out around the pool testing the water and another person making a half hearted attempt at sweeping away some of the mess around it. Its a shame standards have fallen so badly, as we used to enjoy staying here.

lack of management all over hotel............staff could be more friendly............food and drinks could and should be better......................more staff training i suggest.............lovely location...............very nice pool area.................
