Overall, great stay at the Hampton/LAX. I had called a week prior to inquire about an early check-in due to my early arriving flight and was told they don't necessarily do early check-ins but would put a note in my account for when I check-in. However, upon my arrival, this note was not there and also was told there was fee for the early check-in. I wish I was told this on the phone or this information was available online. Then I was informed by the check-in agent that housekeeping was scheduled and asked me for preferred times/days, which was Monday/Wednesday/Friday. They came Monday but not Wednesday and when I inquired on Thursday about it, they said they never had a note about it. Besides that, the hotel is a great stay because it's near the airport and there is a bus that stops basically out front that can take you to the LAX Transit Center to transfer to other buses or to Mariposa Station on the Green light rail line. There is a Coffee Bean & Tea shop across the street, as is a Circle K. The hotel itself has a good gym, indoor pool, bar, and included breakfast during the stay. So definitely a solid option, just some improvements needed at the front desk.
