Hampton by Hilton Canterbury

We booked four standard rooms on Ctrip, and were given two standard rooms and two rooms with sofa beds. When we went to the front desk to ask, they said there were no standard rooms. We didn't have a car at all, but they deducted £25 from us for parking, which has not been refunded yet. This operation is so disappointing!!!

It should be a newly renovated hotel with a very good location, about 200 to 300 meters away from Canterbury Cathedral. The room is nice, the bedding is very clean, but the bathroom has some water stains. The staff is very meticulous, very patient and friendly. The bar in the lobby is good and worth a try. However, its child policy needs to be noted. We didn't notice it at first, of course it was our own problem. It is that you can't add a sofa bed. We are a couple with an 11-year-old child. At first, we booked a room and thought we could add a sofa bed. When we checked in, we were told that there was no sofa bed. Fortunately, there was a vacant room, so we asked for an extra room, which is a twin room + queen room. At first, we didn't notice that we couldn't add a sofa bed. If you have children, it's best to ask in advance whether you need to book two rooms.
