What happened? I've been staying here for years and never had a bad experience here. Not sure if the owner changed or the management changed, but this stay was AWFUL. 3 day stay. No one at the front desk when I checked in. Waited 10 minutes for someone to show up. No Hilton Honors recognition. No housekeeping the first night. No housekeeping the second night, despite speaking with the front desk - twice- and being promised my room would be serviced and fresh towels provided. The lovely friendly woman who used to man the breakfast bar is gone. It took 20 minutes to refill the coffee urn, so I wound up driving to Starbucks instead. FOR OVER $200 PER NIGHT, THE EXPERIENCE WAS AWFUL. From now on, I'll stay at the Fairfield Inn a mile away. You should, too.
