We had a business trip in Elk city, Oklahoma. on which i had brought my family and invited my brother and his Family. upon arrival 11pm there was the front desk lady outside smoking her cigarette to which she looked discomforted upon our arrival, i mentioned that i had previously checked in over the phone and i asked for my key card, i gave her my contact info and throughout this time her tone was more of a demand as she was talking and attitude towards us was poor, i didn't let it bother me as i just wanted to unpack and get my family to the room. she upsettingly told me that she couldn't find me in the system and went and asked for my brother for his info as his last name was the only one pulling up. after his initial check in she started to gather all my info and i asked her if my previous amount was going to be returned she confusingly looked at me as if i was the issue and i had reminded her again that i had already checked in and all i needed was my key card. she upsettingly gave me back my ID, credit card gave and issued me my key card. This interaction was possibly the nastiest Customer Service i had ever Received. we went to our room stayed the night but not before reserving the next few night else where. I will never be back to Hampton inn & suites. and maybe one person coming back wont make a difference but that front desk worker is definitely a liability to this business. and i hope someone else reads this review before booking their stay here.
