Elk Grove Village O'Hare Airport West

The very best part of our experience was the professional thoughtful greeting g we received when we arrived so late on our first night. We had complications and nearly cancelled the trip altogether. Another hotel had cancelled and gave our room away whe we were in route. This place kept our reservation and waited a little passed the usual late night audit to accommodate us getting there so late.

Not good for kids or someone without a car! nothing to do,Breakfast is closed . will be good for a cheap business trip only good thing was McDonald’s next door. They need more decorating its plain. Ididn’t see any. Amenities

Days Inn has a service where you can park you car there for a fee and includes a shuttle service back and forth from O'Hare Airport. My complaint is when I and my family arrived back from our vacation. When we were originally dropped off, I was given a business card and told to call when we were ready to get picked up and they would be there between 20-30 min. Days Inn is 17 minutes away from Airport but we get it, traffic and all. When I called I spoke to Sunny Patel. I let him know what terminal we were at and he said we'll be there in 30min. I called back after 45 min. I was assured driver would be there in 10 min more. 25min later I called again and asked for the manager. Apparently Sunny Patel IS the general manager. He told me to keep waiting. Two and half hours and 5 calls later, I let Sunny know that we we're talking a taxi and I would hope they would cover the $30 cab fare. He said they would NOT pay for it because they offer a free shuttle. We ended up taking a taxi back. Of course I was upset after waiting 2hrs and said we would talk once I got there. Upon arrival, Sunny Patel had left....sure he did. They refused to pay for the taxi and not even an apology. Worst way to get back home from vacation.
