Shuttle bus waiting time 1 hour at the pick up point (I stayed 2 nights and I had to wait 1 hour everyday!!!)
I called to the front at 8.50pm, 9.10pm that I be at the pickup point by 9.20pm but the hotel van came at 10.00pm!! So I have to wait at the cold outside for almost 1 hour!!!!!
The clean was terrible, at the first night I found a lot of dust on the floor and hairs. I told the front at the morning that to clean my room 2 times! but when i came back for night 2, it still fu..king there!!!!! My Nightmare for 2 night
So thrust me do not book this hotel (I have been Holiday inn all around the world but this hotel is worst!!!!!!)

it was slightly further away from the airport than thought but used the shuttle on the way back, hotel was clean and has a small gym, big pool and some outdoor facilities, the restaurant was quiet for dinner but pleasant

The location close to the airport is not bad, but there were 3 power outages during the period of use. There was also the issue of double payment. The interior facilities are not bad, but the price is disappointing. The room will not be cleaned unless requested.

I stayed here for a weekend trip to Chicago. The hotel is an OK choice near O'Hare if you have a car. The staff was cordial throughout my stay. There is a little airport noise, and the room was not as dark as I like. The hotel was in an industrial area with not much else within walking distance. The pictures on the website are of the inside courtyard, which is nice. I would stay here again if my plans included driving around Chicago.

During my stay at the Holiday Inn in Elk Grove, Illinois.l I encountered numerous problems, the hotel did not have any of the amenities advertised, it was actually an unsafe construction site, not a hotel, my deposit is still being held 9 days later, no one at the hotel can explain why, and I was charged significantly more money then what would be reasonable considering the state of the hotel. . I reached out to IHG’s Guest Relations team for assistance, but I was met with unhelpful responses and false information. They agreed to compensate me and sent me an email saying what they would compensate me with, then another manager called to harrass me and lie more and let me know he was pulling the compensation for no specific reason. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, my concerns remain unaddressed, and I feel that I have been treated unfairly. I would never recommend anyone stay at any property of IHG, unless you like being overcharged, lied to, harassed, and companies making promises and then not following through. Run away

The was a horrible stay! For an IHG property I expected alot more. The internet in the room was so weak, dirty rooms, the pool and fitness center were still closed, and there was a roach that climbed onto my bed. If I spend all this money and points, the hotel should at least meet the bare minimum and still failed to do so. The front desk staff had no clue how to help with the internet problem. I even stayed in two different rooms and there was still no internet. The day before I left, at 3pm I asked to speak to a manager and the staff told me there won't be a manager until the next morning at 7am. The managers and ownership don't care so that's why they get a bad review.

The hotel was in an absolute state of disrepair, with dirty and stained carpets throughout the hallways and bedroom, and decor that looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades. It was shocking to witness such a low standard, making it feel more like a run-down hostel than a reputable hotel. To make matters worse, major facilities such as the pool and restaurant were unavailable due to ongoing renovations. I was never informed about these closures during the booking process, and this lack of transparency is completely unacceptable. Had I known the hotel was undergoing construction and that basic amenities would be out of service, I would have never booked this stay.

First, the good: Clean, comfortable room. Didn’t have to pay Chicago prices for a beer. Now, the bad: had to make a U-turn to access the parking lot. Lots of trash on the floors if the lobby. Even more in the elevator. More yet in the horribly stained hallways. Plenty of room for improvement…

Worst ever. No hot water for several days. Was promised compensation and nothing. We disputed charges with credit card company. They gave credit. Then they charged a different card left at time of booking. Filed fraud w/credit card. FRAUD

Due to delayed flight, we were given airline voucher to this property. We had two rooms for our family. One room stank horribly and the other room had the heater on and was 86 degrees (note it is August and hot). We requested other rooms. The next set of rooms still stank but not as bad as the first and it was no longer a sauna but never truly cooled down. As it was 11 p.m. and we had come in from an international flight we accepted what we got. The floor was filthy, the property is dated to the point of floors being warped. This morning we wanted to use the keurig and there was a used K Cup in the selection. After taking showers the already not functioning air conditioner couldn’t keep up and it turned into a sauna from the cool shower humidity. We decided to move to lobby to be cooler until we would get the shuttle. Although better, still humid with old fan sitting on one of the tables. The tables were dirty from breakfast. This has been the worst experience I’ve had. It was worse than any old outdated Motel 6 and shouldn’t be part of the Holiday Inn chain. The only positive was the polite and accommodating desk clerk.

This was the WORST Holiday Inn experience ever. There was no hot water, the room was dirty, only one floor had a functioning ice machine, the cold shower wouldn't drain, and the toilet ran all night. The lobby furniture looked like someone had fished it out of the dumpster. There was a large puddle of human urine on the 3rd floor landing in the stairwell that I almost walked through. I called the front desk at 8 pm to inform them of the urine puddle, as accidents happen. The puddle was STILL THERE at 4:30 am when we left. I pre-paid for the room, but they made an unauthorized additional charge two days after checkout. I called to speak to management, and I was hung up on twice. I called Holiday Inn's national number, and no one has resolved the issues, even though I was assured that someone would call within 48 hours.

The common areas smell bad. They don’t have housekeeping. They charge fictional taxes to your credit card and won’t tell you what or why. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed in some sleazy cheap hotels when I was young, but they compare to the Ritz with this dump.
