A lovely setting overlooking the mountains but most importantly, a wonderful and welcoming staff. Upon check in, we were warmly greeted by Front Office Manager Conor. Over the two nights we stayed at this hotel, we were greeted by all the staff and Conor also took the time to explain the history of the area. We also enjoyed talking to the evening desk manager who greeted us as we returned each evening. The housekeeping staff were friendly and responsive as was the breakfast attendant who made sure everything stayed well stocked and that everyone had ample warning before the buffet shut down. The hotel was extremely clean and had a lovely outdoor covered patio to enjoy the beautiful view. I would highly recommend this hotel - primarily due to the excellent staff.

The room, although very nice, was not the best night sleep. The beds are terrible and the positioning of the bad in the room has you heat and air blowing right in your face. If you want to watch TV in bed it is at a hard angle. The location is on top of a hill with continuous wind. Very nice and clean but will not return.

We always stay at a Hampton Inn and this was our 2nd time staying here and still as great as the first time years ago.

While on a road trip thru West VA we happened upon this hotel around dinner time. We decided to call it a night and I'm glad we did. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the room was clean and comfy, and the breakfast was much appreciated. Perfect stop for us.

Situated way back and high on a hill, offering gorgeous view of the mountains. Our room was clean and well decorated. Nice lobby area and good breakfast buffet. Staff was courteous. Quiet. If passing through Elkins again, we would stay here.

Beautiful clean room and the lobby was decorated for Chris**as, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating with any questions I had. I felt safe and the breakfast was very good. A big "Stay at Hampton" recommendation. The parking lot was cleared of snow easily in the morning, and I was able to park near the door.

Clean facilities, quiet, etc. Hampton always has my favorite pillows and beds. This particular location had an excellent breakfast. The front desk staff was also so nice to my daughter and gave her coloring supplies when we came down for breakfast. The only downside was that the pool was small. My daughter still enjoyed it though!
