The owners/staff are great people and conservative.

This hotel has such wonderful reviews and I wish I could leave one as well because the rooms are cute in a vintage way. The big neon sign in front caught our attention as we were driving down the street. It's a budget motel (the most inexpensive place we stayed on our road trip) and our room was neat and very clean, unfortunately our bathroom was NOT cleaned and we didn't discover it until later in the evening near bedtime. (There was hair all over the bathtub.) Also, there were no paper cups in the room so we could make coffee in the morning. I suspect housekeeping was interrupted in the cleaning of our room and somehow the job was marked off as finished when it wasn't. Maybe I should have complained at the front desk, but I didn't. We simply made do because we were leaving early the next morning.

Clean and affordable

We’re traveling from Colorado Springs and we’re exhausted. Searched everywhere and everything was crazy expensive because of it being a weekend. Then we found this motel about 1.5 hrs past the place we were going to make our first stop. The gentleman at the counter (owner?) was so sweet and funny that he made some of our exhaustion disappear. He gave us what we requested which is a first floor room. The bed was really comfortable, pillows a little lumpy but not a huge thing. I had my own and my husband wanted to try them out. The room was immaculate! I felt comfortable and was able to sleep. The breakfast was great. This was way better than any large chain hotel. We usually stay at Hilton but I’m glad I stayed. I’m on assignment in California for three months. On the way back I will be staying here for sure. Thank you!! Tonie and David

Booked room with the understanding they accepted esa animals as it states, and was charged fees that weren’t specifically for animals. It was an “additional family fee”. No other motels/hotels I was charged this fee especially with supporting esa documents. Also when leaving the motel early in the morning there was a homeless person climbing out of the window right next to the room I was staying at. Did not feel safe here at all, needs better security. Do not recommend
