This hotel has a great reef but is seen better days. It needs to get revamped. It has one of the best reefs in the Maldives so you have to cope with all the faults of the hotel. I booked the all-inclusive for $137 a night plus 26% tax and service charge. Don't come in May All you get is rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain. The food was okay. They put me on the second floor and I had an ocean view. Good thing about this hotel is that they have a washing package. If you stay less than four nights I think it's $22 and they'll wash everything that you own. If you stay four to seven days I believe I spent $32 for their laundry package which is unlimited laundry. Their drinks are okay nothing named brand. If you're on the all-inclusive and you want carlsberg then they have to put it in your room because they just serve beer on tap that's lion. I would stay there again because of the reef but the hotel is absolutely nothing special.

Very nice resort island, with personnel always ready to help and always there for you. Food is impressive and various plates are served. The bars are serving very good cocktails and in the evenings there are good entertainment programs. The minus I would highlight is the activities offered, different kind of trips on the sea, but if not enough subscribers, excursion is cancelled or it can become a private one for a very high price. Also as e negative feature, the convenience store displays shameless prices, really offensive; I would understand these commercial excesses for unnecessary merchandise, but when you put a price of 50 dollars on a small bottle of sunscreen, is obvious they just want to rip off tourists.

Me and my partner and 9 month old son stayed at Ellaidhoo for a relaxing week after spending 10 days exploring Sri Lanka and there is nowhere better in the world for divine relaxation. We had an unforgettable stay at Ellaidhoo. From the moment we arrived at the airport to when we left, everything was just perfect. On arrival at the airport we went to the Ellaidhoo desk and the customer representatives were fantastic in explaining things regarding the speedboat, taking our names and loading our bags onto a trolley. We were handed lifevests and water for our speedboat ride, our bags were carefully loaded on and they ensured that we got on safely. On arriving at the breathtaking resort we were met by a resort host who explained everything we needed, offered us a cold juice and gave us water bottles with our names on them - cute little touch (that’s why we were asked our names at the airport). We were chaperoned to our beach bungalow and our bags were sent separately. We felt that we were a bit far away from the main area, the view was blocked off and the terrain around the bungalow was difficult (especially with a baby) so we asked if there were bungalows available closer to the main area with better view and access and they found us one we could use the next day for the rest of our stay. This bungalow was perfect - the end one right next to water villas, pool and a la carte restaurant, accessible all around and with a beautiful clear view - perfect location with a baby due to access to everything and all we needed when we couldn’t leave the bungalow during baby nap time. We had 2 private deckchairs in front of our bungalow which were exclusively ours during our stay and the water was right in front of us for snorkelling and swimming, there is loads of sea life and we saw rays and sharks. There were 2 bars and 2 restaurants (buffet and a la carte with plentiful food choices and variations throughout our stay). The pool is big and stunning and there were always sunbeds to use and a beautiful view of sunset and water villas. Every single staff member was incredible, polite and kind, and had excellent customer service, working very hard to cater for everything that you need (which is a god send with a baby). Their English is impeccable and we shared stories and jokes and my 9 month son took a shine to Neeha (and she took a shine to him). Neeha is such a beautiful woman inside and out! The staff would always make sure we had a high chair ready for us at a table that we preferred. Iqbaal, Shareef, Raishan, Leem and Shifaau were great in the restaurants but these are just a few of an amazing team that make Ellaisdhoo a perfect stay! Hats off to the chefs for the incredible food, some made to order and lots of choices and always something different in the buffet. To top off the week we had an incredible massage in Chavana Spa by Santi, I even persuaded my partner to have one it was so good. Even when leaving we had a very early wake up call but the staff

He supported us in choosing the food and helped us taste the unique flavors. He is a hardworking and kind young man, I wish him great success. We would also like to thank him for the handmade rose.
