It was very loud. Couldnt get any rest and there is NO WIFI. I STAYED FOR 4 DAYS AND LEFT A DAY EARLY AS I HAVE TO HAVE CONTACT WITH THE OUTSIDE WORLD.
I WILL NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!

First glanced driving up looks beautiful but once in basic , nothing to shout about. It’s noisy from our room we kept hearing prayer calls from the distance no curtains so you get light in all night. It’s a shame because our rooms were upgraded and staff were friendly but if you plan to eat dinner forget it. It took 2hrs to get our meal when ordered because the same person serving is also the chef. Breakfast was cold and basic and when ordered because we didn’t like the free one it wasn’t great either pancakes tasted strange considering it took an hour to get it. Overall wouldn’t stay there again

Nadat mijn reisgenoot en ik Accra achter ons hadden gelaten, verheugden we ons op het verblijf in the Royal Elmount Hotel. De foto's zagen er goed uit en de mevrouw die onze boeking had veilig gesteld, was ook bereid om een kopie van haar paspoort mee te sturen, ter verwittiging dat de boeking echt had plaatsgevonden. De ambassade in Den Haag verplicht mensen bij het verkrijgen van een visum tot deze gedetailleerde informatie, inclusief een schriftelijke persoonlijke bevestiging door de persoon die de boeking gedaan had. Hoe word je een aantrekkelijk land voor toeristen??? Qua bouwkundige voorzieningen voldoet het hotel aan de verwachtingen, maar de service vind ik erg mager. Met drie mensen in de eetzaal staan, maar voordat het diner arriveert, ben je ruim twee uur verder. Een viertal Amerikaanse gasten wachtte nog langer op de maaltijd. Het ontbijt ging ook niet echt voorspoedig. De locatie behoeft een oog van een professional om de logistiek goed te krijgen; het eetvertrek en de wijze hoe je hier komt helpt ook niet echt mee. Als je in een rolstoel zou zitten, wordt dit een niet te nemen barricade. Er moet qua aansturing heel wat verbeteren komend jaar, wil deze tent nog een goede beoordeling krijgen. De mogelijkheid is er; nu nog de weg! Slecht personeel is het niet, maar de professionele aansturing verdient versterking, om het eufemistisch weer te geven. Want de lokatie en de gebouwen zijn prachtig om te zien.

The complimentary breakfast was very good and they brought it to the room because they didn’t see us come down for it. That was impressive. We were only there one night.
Unfortunately the door to the room was a bit of a challenge to close but we made it work.

The room smelled of fumigation chemical, they don't accept payment by card, they dont offer toothbrush. The staff were amazing, the food was good.

Very nice and cool place. We really enjoyed our stay there, the pool very neat and the music was great. Food there was awesome. What I enjoyed most was the hot shower. Will definitely visit again ♂️

Bed wasn't too bad and the guys at the front were very nice. However the wifi was absolutely trash - totally unusable when it would connect which was not often. AC did work and cooled the room which was good though it took several hours to
