Nice place to stay

Nice clean hotel. Room was spacious. Bed was a bit hard but not terrible. AC worked very good. It was FROSTY!!! Parking is a bit far but didn’t mind the walk. The parking lot is really secure and clean. It was really interesting checking in. I have never had a receptionist make me feel like I was a criminal. Ha! It was so peculiar. I am not sure if it was an affect he has or because he was unable to keep eye contact, the unsureness in his voice, or the walking in the back with a paper and then coming back out and then having me sign it after he already said I was checked in. It was just weird. And he wasn’t very friendly either.

The hotel itself is very modern and clean but vast and I mean vast it lacks a soul no atmostphere or character. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and they have a bath which is nice. The gym is not a gym it has some running machines and a feeble attempt at some equipment, it is also not air conditioned. The pool area is nice and the pool itself is decent, the sauna is very and the steam room is ok but a bit cool. Dinner is a limited menu and given that you are at least 10 miles from Aberdeen you’re kinda screwed on going out , so expensive too and very average. The parking is also a major chore, you park underground take a lift to ground level and the have 209yard outside walk, my advice, pull up outside and take in your bags and then park up. EV charging is limited to three points which were busy the whole time I was there so don’t rely on being able to charge. Breakfast was self service and had a broad choice of the usual things , there were no fried eggs so I asked if they were on there way, they came out promptly but were perfectly round and like rubber, they have heat lamps in the kitchen too I guess. Nice hotel but could be better

Upon arrival I found the receptionist to be pretty stern and not very welcoming. The room was a very good size and really modern with a big tv and nice king size bed. A little disappointed that the mini fridge didn’t have any water as most places now this is a nice little touch! The corridors are really modern and clean. Unfortunately the restaurant was AWFUL! We waited 45 minutes after our order was taken and nothing had come to us! When I questioned this we were told our order hadn’t gone through. (Mistakes happen) The starters were very basic and not value for money … However the main was cold and the steak was well over cooked to liking. I’m not overly fussy and could have ate this. HOWEVER the steak had an overwhelming taste of FISH!!! I brought this to the attention of the waitress who agreed. I suggest the fish and meats are being grilled in the same machine/oils! Unfortunately our night was ruined and it was off to our room. Though the restaurant staff were friendly they were never really present and it was evident many others were complaining Both me and my partner struggled to sleep as our mattress was hard. Maybe this is just down to personal preference. Upon leaving this morning we were not very well met by yet another receptionist. Unfriendly and didn’t even bother to ask how our stay was! Though this is a very modern building, with nice facilities the personal touches are not there, the restaurant is awful! And the reception staff and the unfriendliness of staff I’ve met to date.

Stopped at the hotel on a business trip. It is well located for the airport and all of the businesses around Dyce. Being next door to the TECA is great too. The rooms are modern and really comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good with a varied selection of hot and cold foods. Dinner menu was good with different options. Tasty aswell. Pool in the spa was a welcome relief from a days work.

Date of stay: - 27th September 2024 Room 308 Stayed at Hilton Aberdeen TECA for one night due to business. Checked on the day before and chose my room, i received notification just after 12pm on day of arrival saying that my room was ready for me from that point forward, was excellent as check in is stated as 4pm. Didn’t have need to speak with staff due to having checked in online, although I wish i checked in as they seemed attentive at the front desk. and I had zero issues during my stay, which is exactly what is you want during a stay. Room was a standard king guest room and there was more than enough room space to be had and modern compared other hotels in which I stayed. The bed was firm in my option which was comfortable, which resulted in one of the best night sleeps I’ve had this year. In-room heating system as well as wi-fi worked brilliantly. If you are into plane spotting then this hotel is for you due to how low aircraft are when approaching Aberdeen airport, Rooms at the front of the hotel on the third floor should allow this. Didn’t make sure of gym/bar/dining options, therefor can’t comment. I would happily recommend this location to anyone staying in Aberdeen and will stay again.

A smart looking hotel with awful service and staff arguing in front of customers. Utterly chaotic set up - I arrived after long drive to discover the parking arrangements are ludicrous. The 'drop off' is signed, but no signage for parking for guests. Walk into hotel, front desk member treats told me to go somewhere totally different to park - which is not signed or made clear to guests. Try to book table for dinner, told by grumpy barman I cannot reserve after 8pm, and am told to turn up. Come downstairs at 8.15pm, told I can eat at the bar by one member of staff (ideal as I do not want to eat in what looks like a really busy restaurant). Take seat, go to bar and say I want to order food. At this point, the loud manageress figure (possibly Spanish accent) loudly and clearly berates the staff members for accepting bar food orders on a busy night, and chastises them. An argument ensues - unprofessional in the extreme for customers to witness this. I am then queried as to who told me I could eat at the bar - I point the person out who is being clearly told off by this manageress figure again in public. I was then told by another member of staff that it was no longer possible to eat at the bar, and I'd need to eat in the heavingly busy restaurant - which as someone who hates loud noisy crowds, was my idea of hell. I made clear the answer was no, and that I would be leaving this review as a result of how poor the experience was. The end result was discovering the hotel is miles from anywhere, so I couldnt even go elsewhere and get food. I went to bed tired, hungry and VERY unhappy. This is a high end business hotel who cannot sort parking directions out and whose staff cannot even organise a proverbial 'party in a brewery' when it comes to organising food. Avoid this location at all costs - it is simply not good enough.
