Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives

The Taj is an awesome property. The dates on which we were there, the resort was less than 50% occupancy. It gave us the feeling that this whole place is a private island. They have a combination of water villas, and beach villas. We got experience both. The beach was completely empty and not a soul insight. It is a clear, white sand beach. Walking on the beach early in the morning or late in the evening is just awesome. If you are a photo enthusiast, there are several photoshoot spots. HOWEVER, there was a lot of plastic and construction debris from a nearby resort construction that had made its way into the water. It was very sad to see that such a pristine ecosystem being ruined by careless construction practices. If you’re planning a vacation, this resort is a must do. And as always, Taj maintains its top-notch quality.

the stay was excellent and service is excellent . we are pure veg and we did not have any problem , but choice was limited but taste good . we had a gala time . food is expensive so better take food inclisive package and also activity package . it is better if u carry some snacks with u as charges are steep . the only issue we had was wifi which was not stable in the room . otherwise we enjoyed the trip

The food was awful. Not only awful, it was very, very expensive. We loved everything about the resort except the food. $52 for wagu hamburger, $100 pizza. We spent $2,600 eating for 5 days!!! I don’t mind spending the money, but the food is bad at all restaurants.

This is the third time we have visited Taj Exotica and still in love with this place. The service, room, food and everything about this resort is amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to visit the Maldives, you won't be disappointed! Also special mention to Nutei and the girls from the spa who did a beautiful massage and facial for me, the best l've experienced. Thank you to all the staff that continue to make my husband and I always feel welcome.

Taj Exotica Maldives has been one of the best holiday experiences I have ever had. My wife and I stayed for 7 nights in Aug 2024 in room 203. The island is a short boat ride from Male, and upon arrival check in was seamless. Seamless is the way to describe the entire stay. The staff were incredibly accommodative and thoughtful. The property was spectacular - spotless in the rooms and around the whole island; the house keeping team and the gardening team take great pride in making sure the island looks phenomenal. In addition the beaches were beautiful and the water and sea life magnificent. The staff really make this hotel resort very special. A few special mentions; Nadheem looked after us for the whole of our stay. He was very attentive to all our needs, booked all of our experiences and made sure we were very comfortable end to end. Husham and the Housekeeping team kept leaving surprises for my wife and I in our room and looked after us very well. The service in the 24 degrees restaurant was 5 star and beyond. A special thanks to Ismail, Ashraf, Irufaan and Irey who looked after us spectacularly. We really felt at home and our warm welcome and send off was very touching. The executive chef team, particularly Chef Ashish and Chef Jayant Singh were brilliant. Chef Ashish treated us to off menu dinner items and while usually, I am skeptical of à la carte resort dining experiences, the vegetarian menu here was large, and expertly managed by the chefs - for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. One final thanks must also go to the dive centre team and in particular the Marine Biologist, Ingmar. We had 3 experiences with Ingmar - shark and sting ray snorkelling, coral line planting and a coral reef safari snorkel (signature snorkelling experience). The experiences were spectacular; we felt very at ease with the team and we found Ingmar’s knowledge and passion for marine biology to be infectious. Thanks again to the whole team at Taj Exotica. We can’t wait to return!

Our vacation in the hotel was extraordinary. The service was perfect. The main asset of the hotel is staff. We want to say thank you for all of you guys. We will never forget this and will miss you guys and such a beautiful place! We were in paradise definitely!

Good staff & very supportive from buggy driver to front desk everyone are very helpful with a great attitude & good food & secured stay & good climates & good snorkeling experience & price was little high for massage , but as they provided 45 minutes free spa we used it
