Location nice and friendly staff member. The room was relatively clean and cosy, and reflected the building's age. Nice bed and clean bedsheets, but bedhead had dust in corners! Emergency green light on ceiling directly above bed was a distraction. Showerroom clean but needed shelves to put down toiletries. Room was hot with no ventilation - window would not open. Thin walls - could hear EVERYTHING in room next door!! Didn't know cooked breakfast came at an extra cost until we arrived.

We booked to stay for 1 night £95 for a double, arrived to find the property is slap bang in a housing estate, dont be fooled its not rural as the pictures suggest, checked in at the bar with a pleasant lady who showed us to our 'room' what a shock! Stains everywhere on the carped, walls, furnishings bathroom the lot! We found pleny of spiders in there little homes in the brickwork that looked well settled! The apex roof leaks down the brickwork and leaves lovely stains a feature the owner may say? We removed the bedding and found jumping lice (see pic) and bed bugs! Oh how we packed up and left the room, asked for a refund and told the owner will sort it, well he didnt! Told on the phone this was all untrue and no refund! The pictures do not lie and neither do we! Will will persue a refund via the small claims court, we have plenty more evidence to provide. Do yourself a favour, we left and booked into a Premier inn for £70 standard double 2 miles down the road and it was fantastic! No doubt the owner may copy and paste a standard denial reply to this review as expected. This place contravenes the 2015 consumer rights act and will be reported accordingly.

Checked in at 4pm and the room was damp mouldy dusty and dirty, staff are rude and unapproachable, asked for a full refund when I was only there 3 hours and was refused..they advertised breakfast included it is not only a continental if you want a full breakfast it is a additional £7.50 after seeing all the dogs running around in the bar..I don’t think so..please take my advice and stay away from this place as it disgusting..

We have been staying at The Langley Arms for about 6 years. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Sarah goes the extra mile to look after us. The location is quiet but perfect for visiting Bristol.

I have been staying here for a few years now and its been quite a while since I last reviewed it. All I can say is that all is as good as ever with clean, comfortable room with lovely, friendly staff both in the bar/restaurant area as well as the B&B. One member of staff, whom I have got to know is Sarah and she has been excellent both behind the bar and cooking breakfasts in the morning. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I was unable to travel here due to covid, the hotel kept passing me back to *********** and when I told them that *********** needed the hotel to speak with me regarding not being able to stay, they brushed this off and told me I will still be charged full price even though I gave them 7 days notice. When I asked if I can alter my dates so that I was covid free, they ignored my messages and continued to charge me full price. Customer service was poor and it had put me off wanting to stay here again, they were only interested in getting my money, there was no card or help trying to change the dates. Poor.

Great hotel the staff are brilliant couldn’t be any more helpful. We asked for a ground floor room and can say it was clean and well set out. The food was good and bar price good. We used the hotel as a base for the Bristol balloon festival leased said about that the better. Breakfast was well prepared and well worth the extra £5 pp if we are in the area again would definitely use the hotel

With old buildings you have to expect creaky floorboards and quirky decor. I think the Bargain Hunt researchers would enjoy a mooch around this place. We absolutely loved our 1 night stay here. The B and B adjoins the pub, the Langley Arms, parts of the building date from the 17 th century with a long farming history. There are several lovely walks in the area, through the local park to the shopping centre for example. Our bed was comfortable, the shower was good, modern television and adequate wifi. We really enjoyed our evening meal, I had cottage pie and my husband had liver and onions, both were delicious. We had a well cooked English breakfast the next day. My only gripe is the kettle was too large to fill from the bathroom sink.

Very disappointed. The room smelled obviously the previous occupants had been smoking. The first thing we did was go out and buy some towels the ones provided were thin grey and fraying. There was a stain on the arm of one of the chairs. A bulb missing on the light and one not working. Around the shower was dirty. Breakfast was continental not a good one probably to get you to pay an extra £5 for a cooked breakfast. We went into the pub attached one night for a drink. We were the only ones inside, everyone else was outside in the smoking area even the bar staff. The problem was the doors were open so all the smoke fumes came inside. The only good thing was the bed which was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful even it it was small.
