Hotels Near Pferde-Wiese in Emmerich am Rhein

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in Kleve für einen Kurztrip und wieder restlos begeistert. Da unsere Anreise kurz ist, haben wir Mittags eine Kleinigkeit gegessen (sehr lecker) und konnten deutlich vor der Zeit unser Zimmer beziehen. Wunderschön und mit Blick auf die Spoy! Restlos begeistert hat uns das Abendbrot. Selten bis nie haben wir außerhalb der Küste so guten Fisch gegessen. Ein kleiner Tipp, der aber auch bitte als Tipp und nicht als Kritik verstanden wird: eine bessere, mediale Präsenz zur Infomationensmöglichkeit wäre schön. Und ein Traum wären kleinere Portion für Erwachsene. So werden wir nie den Nachtisch schaffen. Der Wolfsbarsch war unvergleichlich gut, aber leider war danach kein Platz mehr für ein Dessert. Ein besonderer Dank an dieser Stelle an Heidi und die restlichen Engel für die vielen Tipps und die unglaubliche Geduld beim Thema Klimaanlage!

What can you say about exclusivity? There is no more of exclusivity. Gaps in the layers with the old blood and the dirty gardens and any kind of atmosphere is cut off in your hotel room. Even a cup in the bathroom to wash your mouth after tanning wasn't there. Eating was ridiculously expensive and the quality to cry. Tips for the cook: consider a career switch. The ”warm vegetables” screw looked like vegetables you're dressing out of the dust of the dish, enjoyed with a unclear wet of curry and coconut. Sashimi of sashimi had been better - three flattery thin sticks where my mother has become sick, and this hotel is also a temporary reception centre for asylum seekers. We haven't found any problems here, but communicate with your guests. Something with transparency? This is your duty as a million group, namely. It's good that you can offer asylum seekers a hot bed, but a little heads-up was good. Not everyone is served here. Take an example to your colleagues in Brabant, van der Valk. The reception staff has taught the lips and a disgusting high-air. Work to your softskills ladies, that is better.

I felt welcome here, also with dog! I have eaten here 2 times super, the portions are RUIM enough. My room was in the new building part and was clean and well-cared! A good bed, easy to operate TV, delicious shower, refrigerator. The only.. no airco. Window could be open far enough🙂 Have experienced the operation as very friendly and helpful. We are travelling from the UK and needed to be near Wijchen to visit family so stayed at the Mercury in Nijmegen for a couple of nights. It’s right by the Train Station which is exactly what we needed - simple to get to after the journey from Amsterdam and great to get back and forth to Wijchen. We arrived early but were swiftly checked in and given room right away. This has the feel of a business hotel but that means clean and efficient which is all we needed. The room was small but not tiny - had a decent safe and nice shower. We had breakfast twice and thought it was very good especially the croissants and fresh orange juice. One day was very busy but staff all seemed to pull together and service level was good. We didn’t use other facilities. It’s very close to station but no real train noise to disrupt sleep and also 5 min walk to centre of Nijmegen. Good option for Nijmegen and surrounding area.

Just a short (thankfully downhill) walk from the railway station (extensive rail and bus services give easy access to almost anywhere in the Netherlands) the hotel is an even shorter walk from the north bank of the Nederrijn with its shady walks and numerous restaurants. Very handy as there is no restaurant at any IHG Express. As I arrived mid-morning the room was not ready but the staff (more about them later) were happy to store my case until I returned that afternoon (and again after checkout before leaving on an afternoon train). The room itself was a good size with a large comfortable bed, a functional desk and chair and a comfortable chair. Air conditioning kept the temperature stable and the lighting was good - not the ”fashionable” near darkness of some. Bathroom was good with a spacious shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Coffee and tea available. Breakfast is the only meal offered and is a fairly basic standard european offering. Meats, eggs and cheeses were adequate, yoghurt good, fresh fruit salad very good indeed. Coffee was machine provided and good with a variety of offerings. No hot options (standard with the Express brand) and I did not try any of the other cold choices. Although fairly centrally located with easy access to shops and all the usual facilities and infrastructure the room was quiet and peaceful. An Albert Heijn mini-supermarket opposite attracted small groups in the evening but was not a bother - indeed very useful for an occasional small purchase. All standard and as expected for the brand so why mark it excellent? I will come back to the staff who were unfailingly excellent - helpful, cheery and friendly (though never less than professional) and recognised me by the end of day 1. A credit to the hotel and its management. This is now my first choice when next in the vicinity

The hotel is located directly opposite the Arnhem Railway Station, and it is especially convenient to travel to other places. There are many restaurants, bakeries, famous food supermarkets in the Netherlands along the street downstairs, so life is also quite convenient. By the way, if you arrive at Arnhem by train for the first time, remember to go out to the underground floor. The two of us stupidly picked up our luggage and chose to take the elevator up and out of the station. As a result, we looked at the train station and the hotel. We walked around a big circle and actually went down the station. Go to the train station gate, the hotel is 100 meters from the gate If the hotel of the same grade is in Amsterdam, the price will be more than double. We consider working near Arnhem the next day, so we still choose to stay in Arnhem. The money saved is used for transportation and more than enough to eat a big meal. If you go to Amsterdam, take the train to Amsterdam Central Station in 1 hour, and there is a corresponding train to Schiphol Airport. The breakfast at the hotel was very delicious and the mattress was very comfortable... Overall, we were quite satisfied.
