Obwohl das Wetter nur teilweise mitspielte, war die Aussicht einfach atemberaubend. Wir 9 Personen kennen das Panorama auch bei strahlendem Sonnenschein oder mit eindrücklichem Nebelmeer. An diesem Tag jedoch freuten wir uns auf ein trockenes Plätzchen, um gemütlich beisammen zu sein und gemeinsam den Mittagshunger zu stillen. Das Essen war hervorragend, obwohl die Teller auch bei einer etwas grösserer Portion leer geworden wären. Doch ein No-Go ist der Service. Es hat sozusagen nichts geklappt. Vom Service in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel darf man eindeutig mehr erwarten. 8 von 9 Personen bestellten das Menu in 3 oder 4 Gängen. Wer braucht jetzt einen Suppenlöffel, wer nicht? Diese und ähnliche Fragen sind nicht angebracht. Dazu kommt, dass die Wartezeiten eindeutig zu lange dauerten. Nach dem Essen, hatten wir am selben Tisch eine Besprechung vorgesehen, einen Teil davon konnten wir bereits in den ausgedehnten Wartezeiten zwischen den einzelnen Gängen erledigen. Wetterbedingt hatte es wenig Gäste, doch wir sassen nach Dessert und Kaffee einfach auf dem Trockenen! Fazit dieses Besuches: Essen und Aussicht fantastisch, Service hat viel Luft nach OBEN!
